First of all, i'd go with Johnson over Boot. Yes, he's had a poor pre season but ultimately, this is a derby match and his experience in competitive football is crucial in matches of this magnitude.

Duffy or Streete is a tough call. I'm actually a fan of Duffy's unlike many and he's had a solid pre season to say the least so whatever Page opts for, i'll back it.

Daniel over Kelly for me simply because tactically, i reckon Daniel's power could hurt there fragile back four on the attack.

Finally, Dodds over Andoh was another tough one but i went with Dodds simply because it'll be imperative that we keep our shape well and Dodds knows that number 10 role inside out.

 

The rest i reckon is pretty much nailed on. However, if O'Connor was to actually play, i'd probably replace Dodds and put Foley in the number 10 role.

 

Prediction: Crewe 1 Vale 2 - Ikpeazu early on and Foley to get the winner with 20 to go.

Can't see that in my opinion. We've not played 3 at the back all pre-season. It would be a big shout to do that in the 1st league game.
