OVF loading

Is anyone else finding that OVF is taking longer than other web pages to load? This is not in any way a criticism, it's just a question.

I've found it slow on and off during the past week but not recently (over the weekend).

 

I put it down to a lot of users, waiting to see if we've snared a Messi!

I read today that many people who have recently had fibre optic installed find, that if they have recently viewed hardcore pornography online, some football forum pages may take a little longer to load.

I was having problems earlier on in the week, really slow, but it's been ok over the weekend.

This is on an I pad, with fibre optic cables.

Hi,

 

1. It could be that your ISP thinks the site has malware. We did have a problem with OVF and malware a while back (now sorted) and may still be on the "blacklist" of some providers. It may be worth dropping them an email to see if that is the case? I think sites that ISPs think could contain viruses/malware are loaded more slowly because ISPs check them over (so it would be significantly slower).

 

2. It could be that OVF is slow. I don't have the fastest server as I can't afford it and with the traffic if can slow to a crawl.

 

I'm sorry if both answers are a bit vague and I hope it sorts out for you.
