Give the man a break, since he packed in playing (which I will always admire) his efforts towards the first team have been second to none, world class signings, almost taking the club to the promised land of non league football. This man deserves a statue outside vale park for his efforts off the field!!!

It's sad to see the vitriol poured on a truly great player from our most successful era in modern times.

 

I would like to have a bug planted near the Vale bench to hear if/what input Glover has during games.

 

In his defence (pardon the pun), Rudge probably signed as many stinkers as Glover has....no club or scout is exempt from failing in that department.

 

Either way, we have no choice now but to back him.

 

Ultimately if we win the first six games the last thing on our minds will be who the scout is !

Glover managed to chip away at my respect for him as a player in a way that Foyle never did, through his incompetence and stubbornness.

Good point about letting us know after the ST deadline, and to be honest, haven't really been let know have we? Just mentioned in the sentinel. Probably because Smurf knew the reaction from us lot.

 

It's a joke and almost as if he feels he has to give Glover a job of some sort. Which ok, leave him with the kids, not the ****ing chief scout job!
