Loved Goodlad. He was class. Stockers was a ****er an all, shame he left.

 

I think it was away to Tranmere where I saw Goodlad put in one of the best goalkeeping performances I've ever seen, a game in which Vale won 0-1 if I remember correctly. He was superb!

 

But I'm a scouse supporter and don't ever go to Vale games... :rolleyes:

This defence is better than the one we had in league two in all fairness. The forwards and wingers are just far better.

 

Could you imagine Mccombe, Mcdonald and Chilvers in this league

 

I'm not sure they are or would do any worse than McGivern, Robertson and Dickinson/Yates in fairness.

What a guy he was! My favourite player in years along with Danny Sonner and Mark Goodlad.

The fact that this pathetic defence vastly improved when a 19 years old inexperienced on loan defender ,was involved says it all

Ryan Inniss may have been on loan, only 19 and according to you "inexperienced" but he showed more nous and understanding of how to defend than any of the others have done all season. Hope we can get him back!
