The restricted view seats are *****,looks like Liverpool are just like the other greedy Premier League ******s and sucking every last penny out of decent football fans.Dunner moan about Vale they have to charge what they do just to keep going not to line the pockets of the parasites that are laughing all the way to the bank.UTV.

This highlights once again what I have thought for years greed starting from the top down is killing football. The trouble is unless you support a lower league club you just can't see it. Talk Sport pundits were waxing lyrical about how wonderful the new deal with the TV companies is...... it would be if it was shared more evenly instead of thrown away on mercenary players who couldn't give a toss about the club they play for.

Believe me football is dying but they cant see it because it's dying from the roots upward and by the time those on top of the tree see it it will be too late the game as we know it will be dead!

Oh look, another criticise Liverpool thread. Like they're the first and only team that have charged over the top prices.

The way I see it is that on the whole attending football games at any level is over-priced. I paid £20 to get in to watch Vale in League Two where the quality was mostly just above Sunday league, so in comparison paying double to see world-class talents like Coutinho and Sturridge etc isn't that ridiculous.

I'm not saying that two wrongs make a right, but let's not pretend that watching our beloved Vale (I've been going games home and away every season since I was about 6 before anyone starts) is by any means cheap for the quality that's usually on offer.

The game as we knew it 25 years ago is already dead such is the obsession with the PL, the rewards for being in it and the 'do whatever it takes' attempts to stay in it of some clubs.

But fans and clubs are still there..look at Portsmouth..still got some of the most passionate fans in the country

Somehow the FA has to get its hands on a significant chunk of the PL money and plough it into lower levels of the game...it makes a big thing about being the custodian of the game at all levels..needs to start living up to that claim

Maybe a levy on all transfer involving the PL..1% of 50 million paid/received for a player is err.......£500,000 :dizzy:. 5% and wahey!!!!

So you don't think the likes of Coutinho and Sturridge who I named at least have the potential to be world-class? Come on. I know you despise Liverpool and would love to see me sodomized, but I don't believe you're really that stupid or bitter. ;)

Told you! :)

It's not just about Liverpool, there was a thread on here last season about what Arsenal were charging Stoke fans if you look back. Ticket prices for the Premier League are hideous especially when you consider its not their main source of income unlike lower league clubs.
