Highly rated former Arsenal Academy and Premiership WBA defender who is both quick and a giant and who is good on the ball and versatlie playing left back and centre back.......could have been a valuable squad player next season and a real prospect..........reminded of when Adams released the whole development squad......then again Page is building a team around Williamson and Birchall with Dickinson the first name on the team sheet......

Good luck to the lad but better off elsewhere with a decent coaching set up and a chance to progress......far away from the football committee and

inexperienced managers....player development you're having a laugh.

Could have been, although it's also a possibility that he wasn't good enough for a team looking to progress to the second division. As far as I'm aware, there is only Morsy who has made me think we made a mistake not doing more to keep in the last 10 years.

Just because he was good as a teenager doesn't mean he's going to develop into a good professional footballer (I remember Fulham being interested in Joe Anyon, look how that turned out). No one on this site has seen Greenidge play in a competitive game other than the reserves, and they're hardly an indication of the quality of footballers (Vale 3 - 0 Stoke) springs to mind.

If he was that highly rated Arsenal and WBA (especially) wouldn't be letting him go. Page was a good defender and I have confidence in his judgement in that area.

Keep the faith

Never saw Greenidge so can't really comment. I think he only made the bench twice? I do agree with Santa on page 1 though, it might be worth reviewing some of these signings what is the point taking players on loan not to at least give them a chance? Is it a cheaper way of doing the development squad perhaps? I don't know! It's a similar thing to the lad from Leicester we had for a month?
