Premier League 14/15 (Not just Liverpool talk)

Just watched QPR vs Newcastle, both were dire but I'd hazard a guess that 90% of the Newcastle players couldn't care less whether they played or not. What's happened to the production line of talent in the North East, one of the hotbeds of football in England, the area that produced the likes of Bobby & Jack Charlton, Paul Gascoigne, Bryan Robson, Alan Shearer and Chris Waddle etc.

If they can get tens of millions for him then good riddance..he's not as good as he thinks he is and is replaceable. Regrettably I fear a move to a club where he'll not play so much will do him no good at all....apart from filling his wallet

I think Ibe will be better than Poorly Legs. His ability is now being questioned on Liverpool forums- he's a fast runner and doesn't score enough.Jamie Carragher says he ought to be embarrassed to go into training and should sack his agent.A 20 year old taking on LFC.Only one outcome there.

As I said earlier on this thread, Sterling will end up as the next Shaun Wright-Philips. Could have been a good player, but moves for money and will sink without trace through lack of game time. Wonder if certain people have changed their mind now it looks like he is no longer going to be playing for Liverpool...? :)

Sterling has the potential to become a world-class player. He's had a poor season compared to the standards he set himself in the previous one but he's still 20 and has an awful lot to learn still. The likes of Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Real Madrid won't go in for him for no reason whatsoever, it's because they can see a young player with huge potential and an agent that's only interested in filling his own pockets. Jordan Ibe is a better player at his age than Sterling was and I don't think Rodgers will be afraid to start him in games next season.

Hopefully the Theo Walcott move will come off as he would be a more than adequate replacement fort Sterling.
