Got to keep 11 players on the pitch. Battling 2nd half performance and a pity we just couldn't nick a goal. Not easy for Rob Page with Tom Pope being out, a promising loan signing recalled, now Lines out for 3 games and O'Connor with an injury scare.

O Connor should be fine, RP says he took him off as a precaution. he was suffering with cramp due to the amount of running needed after Lines's red card.

Did Lines get mixed up about how many games we had left before Christmas?

 

If he'd got himself sent off next week at Gillingham he could have put his feet up from the start of December until after Boxing Day. As it is, he should be back available for the Sheffield United game.

 

Perhaps he's banking on at least one game during December being called off.

Listening to local radio after the game and they are embarrassed at how he reacted their reporter wemt on to say he had no marks to his face. Reasonable performance against an average team away from home. Difference being ref was a "homer"....

It doesn't really matter how their player went down even though it was cringe worthy. Lines simply can't stick his head in and expect nothing to happen. Stupid beyond belief.

Tbh I thought the ref was going to book the MKD player for diving, couldn't believe it when he sent Lines off. Good performance for the last 88 mins but without threatening anything up front, as others have said, Campion should have been given 15/20 mins. To say there was over 12,000 there their fans never made a murmur.

Many, if not most, got in free or for £1 and went for the family day (excellent idea though) and probably got a bit bored with the football, expecting another few goals after the sending off. Credit to Vale for a battling show from the 10 men.

We should have a festival match too, with special sideshows and bits like they had.

I agree that we do see to be breaking out quicker (not today though) but not sure that is Tom's doing just a change of tactics. Without Tom though we look pretty ineffectual in my opinion but if DG gets fully match fit who knows.

I didn't see the head butt from Lines and if he did it he's an idiot. I believe MK are expecting a large offer for Dele Alli. I'm expecting to read shortly of a million pound bid coming in from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
