Adams Out!

Recommended Posts

they say 14 days to get ma onboard ,mark sims says 10 days so whos lying ,we know who the unfamous 3

I was under the impression that it takes 28 days for a written resolution to be passed as you have to give shareholders reasonable notice to receive the forms, consider their decision and to reply.

Cant believe it,ADAMS OUT,calm down,ok it is a bad idea for ADAMS having a proxy but if he intends to buy £50,000 of shares as he said, will it be bad news ? I personally think not ,we still need to get rid of THE 3 and get SIMMS in as soon as possible ..GLENN is the main problem at the moment and am sure there are things in the back ground been done as we speak ...I HOPE ...

Yep...unless articles say otherwise.

i'm not quite sure what you mean BA.

Sutton and Roberts have not signed new deals. Neither can before this is sorted.

Morsy was in the same squad as Fraser so how on earth is he a replacement?!

Have Yates and Loft officially put pen to paper yet? Could be another two that are hanging on to dot the I's and cross the T's.

Loft and Yates got sorted out a while back and Gannon sorted Morsy a contract extension (Adams would probably have released Morsy without

giving the lad a chance).....Morsy is that rare thing a first year professional not released and therefore can be considered as a replacement for Fraser as

a central midfield.......Adams had ample time to sort out Sutton and Roberts

and players will all be under contract till the end of the month...there aren't another two that's it....Kris Taylor and Bell both got released.....the squad was always going to be the same as last season with most everyone signed up and no money.....but it is so very very important that Adams steps up to become the fourth Director to legitimate a deal so that the "cartel" who got a vote of no confidence from 90% at the EGM can get complete control with 53%....all because of the very real football emergency of not having left back cover in the off season.

I know Yates and Loft were offered deals, i know they agreed these deals, but i've never seen confirmation that they have actually signed. The last i saw was "due to be signed in the next couple of days" ( i await a flood of evidence which show;'s they have actually signed on the dotted line). Adams himself says he only has a squad of 13 players.

I think you're wrong BA and bang out of order calling MA a lie with no proof what so ever.

I stand corrected. According to my research (a bit late now George!!) Loft and Yates have indeed signed the contract.

I don't believe it is purely for "football reasons" either. It will almost certainly take longer for him to be "elected" to the Board than it will for Mark Sims to complete due diligence. If Mark accepts Directorship then signings can happen....go figure.....

and if Mark doesn't?

They have to have a plan B otherwise we might not be able to start the season. Is this right?

Sorry, but HOW long? 14 days to get postal ballots out, with reasonable time to return them ( and without a legal challenge to the process, which I assume might well happen) and then to count them, make sure that everyone has had the chance to vote - I think 14 days might be a tad optimistic.......but not if you plan to fix the ballot....

5/6 weeks is more likely, you have to allow for people being on holiday, it cant be by return of post, and time to set up an independent collection centre to ensure fair counting.

They have enough players, the budget wont stand many more, still plenty of time for another EGM.

If Mark doesn't then the only reason I can think of is that the club is in even more deep financial **** than we could ever imagine....and that would (for any sane person) be a good reason for MA to decline as well. If he doesn't, and carries on regardless, then he risks losing his job AND £50k....

I think it's tactical, and cynical - and nothing really to do with football matters really....

The one thing this Board are good at is staying in control....pity they can't put the same level of commitment to getting decent levels of investment in.....

Don't be so ****ing stupid.

Another example of a person craving attention

Not craving attntion at all. Just my opinion and one to which i'm entitled. Was never over keen on the retirn of Adams before this little sideshow, but now i want a totally new team from top to bottom at the club. The remnants of the old guard are not healthy for this club, and i include Adams in that.

GD - do you believe having the manager in the boardroom is a good thing?

How will his place on the board facilitate new signings when there is no money?

Do you not think this is just an excuse to strengthen Bratts position?
