Adams Out!

We can all argue till we are blue in the face. Fact remains that Mark simms will be the 4th director should the books be ok, so no need for Adams.

Micky Adams is the manager of this football so my advice to him would be to ****ing manage it and leave the boardroom stuff to those who are there or about to be there.

Christ, just do what we pay you to do Micky.

Let's not forget that MA had the very same team (minus Kris Taylor) at the top of this division when he left, looking at automatic promotion, with no money in the coffers to improve the squad. Footballing reasons Mickey?......pull the other one!

That doesn't make any sense at all.

1: We've also lost Fraser (don't laugh!)

2: He's offered players renewed deals. They can't sign on the dotted line until the club can trade. If they don't sign now they can be poached.

3: We hardly have any players. We need to be offering contracts yesterday!

Of course it is for footballing reasons.

As a fan of port vale football club I am pleading with the current board to assist in every single way to help mark Simms in completing his due diligence of the clubs accounts. It is necessary that this happens as quickly as possible so ensuring the team for next season can be developed to a standard that Adams is happy with.

From Statements that have been issued it seems to me that Adams has a number of targets that he wants to sign (within the current budget) that will improve the current squad. I am hoping that this is the only reason why he has offered to become a member of the new board (I am not interested in the conspiracy theory). If you remember in previous season players have been signed early so the squad and tactics can be matured ready for the START of the season.

I am also interested in threads where more and more people are turning against Adams. However if you read many threads during the Gannon term many people were pleading for the return of Adams. And just remember the great atmosphere that had begun at the start of last season. It seems to me that people will never be happy with any situation or appointment made at port vale.

I rarely post for or against the board or Mo but the hatred within this site against the board is VERY OBVIOUS , this is why Simms, not Adams, needs to be assisted directly by the current board to set up 4 directors so adams can do his job and simms his , I personally think that will be to assist in the takeover of the club.

fully agree.

If it was really about signings and for "football reasons" Adams would be asking for the three remaining Directors to resign.....

Given the results of the EGM and 90% of shareholders wishes are the vast majority of fans going to forgive Adams for allowing a Board of Directors that

they voted out of power back in and Adams will be acting as a stooge for a Director voted off at the EGM inorder that the Board can sign not players but firstly and foremost a deal to give the "cartel" 53%......Adams will be more hated than Rob Lee.

Morsy is a replacement for Fraser and players are under contract till the end of the month and on holiday....Sutton and Roberts were having discussions about life, the universe and everything before Adams would offer contract extensions then Adams went on holiday....it would seem that as Adams refered to contract extensions in the plural that both have been offered contract extensions....so that is 17 players with perhaps just a replacement for Kris Taylor as left back cover....that's the squad, that's the budget.....footballing reasons is a lie.

Before everyone shouts for Mickeys head, here's a question. We all know MA is a strong character with a mind of his own. We all know that MS will potentially become a board member who wnats MO's capabilities and back office team onboard, as well as the finance.

There is now a direct route from Mo to MA and MA can now have a say.

We now have a potentiall 3v3 situation in the boardroom as I have no doubt that MA could well be swayed by Mo's proposal as there is now an opportunity to show it to him in detail!

MA, MS & NLV as a dream team to herald the intorduction of new investment - has anyone considered that possibility?

Considered, and thought not. I don't think MA sees himself as part of that dream team. He says he was asked to step in, apparently. So it wasn't his decision - he's doing what he's told to do, or he really does support the current board. The "not being able to sign players" is a smokescreen - if MS's due diligence shows the club is sound, and NLV get on the Board, then he will be able to - and the due diligence will happen a sight sooner than a postal vote poll of shareholders. If MS decides not to, it will be because the books are in such a state that it's walking into a minefield. In that case if MA wants to be a director of a bust club, then he's welcome to it....

Stan Meigh would NOT (IMO) be sponsoring someone opposed to the board - maybe they are concerned that ML might jump ship? Either way it wouldn't be 3-3, I suspect MA would make sure it was 4-2

I say lets get Adam's, Bratt, Oliver and Lloyd out as a unit and lets get a new broom sweeping the ***** out and bringing in a whole new team. Adams is too closely associated with V2001 now for him to remain under a new regime.

Don't be so ****ing stupid.

Another example of a person craving attention

they say 14 days to get ma onboard ,mark sims says 10 days so whos lying ,we know who the unfamous 3

Sorry, but HOW long? 14 days to get postal ballots out, with reasonable time to return them ( and without a legal challenge to the process, which I assume might well happen) and then to count them, make sure that everyone has had the chance to vote - I think 14 days might be a tad optimistic.......but not if you plan to fix the ballot....

i'm not quite sure what you mean BA.

Sutton and Roberts have not signed new deals. Neither can before this is sorted.

Morsy was in the same squad as Fraser so how on earth is he a replacement?!

Have Yates and Loft officially put pen to paper yet? Could be another two that are hanging on to dot the I's and cross the T's.

Wrong use of the word "fans" in that sentence maybe you just missed the words "a few rogue" from in front of it as the vast vast majority of "fans" are very happy hes back and very happy to have him "on board" too if he wishes..

Thought he spoke well and seems keen on the Sky TV interview just now and that it is for "football reasons"...

All good stuff really.

I think you'll find that those of us who wanted him back as manager DON'T want him anywhere near the Boardroom, certainly not sponsored by a Director that was ousted at an EGM. Do you not see the major problem with the manager being on the board? Regardless of that, why is he in such a hurry when Mark Sims is currently looking at the finances, and would be able to take up a Director's position if the finances weren't disastrous?

Football reasons?????? I'll quote a certain Mr Royle on that one.

I used to think the Board weren't as bad as some folk on here painted them (ask anyone I've debated with a few weeks back) but the farrago of lies over the Council loan, the Broxap deal and now this, and I can see why so many (not a few) are so opposed to them.

What you seem to miss is that quite a few of the folk on here that post have shares - and if they are rogue fans, then they are also rogue shareholders.....over 90% of shareholders are rogue according to your logic....
