Adams Out!

Recommended Posts

Just found out about this ludicrous bid to get Adams on the board. I don't know about everyone else but thats the final straw for me.

Adams has only ever been the boards little puppet to keep them in power but now he's nailed his turncoat colours well and truely to their mast. It was bad enough that he shafted our season by buggering off to Sheffield, then managing to weed his way back in on double the money on a longer contract, but now he wants to be Jackson/Meigh's henchman too.

I say lets get Adam's, Bratt, Oliver and Lloyd out as a unit and lets get a new broom sweeping the ***** out and bringing in a whole new team. Adams is too closely associated with V2001 now for him to remain under a new regime.

I'll have to be a dissenting voice I'm afraid.

Adams is doing this so the club can trade, being one short of a full board. I think that's his only motivation and if you think that means he'll support V2001 in the current dispute, why not ask him? I gather both B & G and NLV have asked precisely this question and his answer is awaited.

Until the answer comes I suggest we lay off. Otherwise we risk throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

I think what alot are not understanding is I personally believe anyway, it is that he would be a director in name only. Just so they can function. So the three can carry on buisness as usual.

That would have been the case anyway, irrespective of whether one of Jackson/Meigh had stayed or Mark Sims had come on the board - Mark couldn't outvote the others. Having Micky there is IMHO irrelevant.

If another EGM is called, then Micky would have to nail his colours to the mast - or stay neutral. My guess would be the latter.
