A tough game to start our cup run with, let us hope we improve on last season's £360k income. Will any of our loan players be available? Especially Streete, now that the Toon have won 4 on the trot, surely will not be required back this season.

Let's have a good crowd for this one. All the people saying our league prices are too high can prove or disprove if Norman is right or wrong with his pricing policy. With good support and home advantage it is a winnable game and bring the club much needed revenue.

Let's see what excuses they come out with if we don't get at least 6,000.

I think that we'll be lucky to get 4500. Many fans don't seem to bother with the FA Cup and MK Dons isn't really a crowd puller. ST holders don't seem to bother as they'll have to POTD and I don't suppose that they'll bring too many either as they don't travel well.

No excuses not to watch this one as well,MK Dons are a decent side who play a good brand of football.

I feel this game is far more important than the Rochdale league match, or any league match on November.

A win against MK Dons gives us a chance of a decent cup run and extends the season's interest.

A defeat and there are very few big dates to look forward to for the rest of the season as it stands.

I understand where you're coming from, but we can't yet afford to forget about the league. The whole table is mighty close--certainly from 8th down to 24th and we don't want to be dragged back into the bottom four. And, before I'm accused of panicking, just check the points difference between 10th & 24th--too close for comfort! The truth is we need to win bopth in the cup for the reasons you state and ensure that we have another few good league results. Rochdale on the 15th will be a far from easy task.

Big game this. Regarding the team, i'd go for:

Neal

Yates Duffy Streete McGivern

Birchall Lines Brown Marshall

Williamson N'Guessan

Bench: Johnson, Veseli, Dickinson, Dodds, Moore, Daniel, Slew.

Is Streete available for the cup?

Agreed....the difference being, if we mess up against 'Dale we still have nearly 30 games to make amends.

Mess up against the Dons and it will feel like the season's over, even if it isn't!

For me beat dale and were in a really good position, I personally feel it's a very important game even though there are 30 odd games left.
