Did Robertson play im not surprised a 4_2 defeat a week before the season doesnt bode very well ,friendly nothing game or not .

Ive said on another thread the defence will cost us think today should be the last time certain players play for us .We cannot carry passengers .

If he has gone there with a full strength squad its a total embarassment .

Personally couldnt care less about friendlies but too concede 4 goals against a non league is downright pathetic.

After how well the ticket office was trading yesterday ,the players have shown us up today lets hope they learn and learn quickly from it

 

Robertson was a sub and it was 2-0 when he came on...oh well yea I guess the defeat was his fault..unbelievable

Neal is a great keeper imo but I do think this is why Adams may spring a surprise and start with Johnson next weekend

Yeah, but that might have more to do with selling half the squad that beat Man U, a few weeks later. :D

I agree,i remember us losing all but one friendly one pre season under Rudge and we went on to get promoted

I know it's only a pre season friendly but perhaps someone could tell me how I go to work on Monday and explain that. It's now thunder & lightening here oh how I wish it had happened 30 mins ago. Either the players might have woken up or the game would have been abandoned. Over reaction some will say but if that is what we have then god help us. Duffy was about the best for the rest in was a kick about in the park.

Agreed. Robertson plobs and Yates just can't defend. Both were awful today. Defense is a real concern.

Only a friendly.Learn what system don't work now not during the season.The main thing is that MA has learned something from today.

And conversely in our last season under Foyley, we won all our pre-season and got relegated. But it's still not too good to concede four just before the season starts against a non-league side. Better though to happen now than when we get started for real.
