Totally agree Haldane with a full pre-season training might be a different player. He was always playing catch up last season and never got the strength back after the insect bite.

 

Kris can't defend Adams warned him when his contract came up before. Lets get round pegs in round holes for once for 2 long this club has done the opposite. With our fan base we shouldn't be doing make do and mend

I like kris Taylor but we need a change and some new signings so some have to go! I wish haldene was released and rigg

 

Haldane did not play well last season but did have a major illness. I think he is capable of decent dribble at pace, but his quality isn't good enough on the edge of the box. I think Kris Taylor could have been a good Beckham like winger - crosses from deep and set pieces - if re-deployed. Sutton hasn't had a chance but seems prepared to be a backup player so subject to cost could stay. But its goal scoring from midfield and striking where summer transfers need to solve our problems. To get promotion we need to be able to afford or skillfully acquire a strong league 1 side to play in league 2.===

I think Kris Taylor always brought the best out of Rob Taylor when they played together but Collins is a much better defender. I think that Sutton has performed well when he's been given the chance and let's not forget he is one of the best footballers in the squad according to Broadmoor resident James Gannon. Having said that I was well impressed by Joe Davis in the last home game.

Would have kept Taylor myself. I agree about playing him on the left of midfield and think he can offer more attaching than defending. I thought the two Taylors used to complement each other. Kris was the only player at the club who could actually take a good free kick too. He even used to get some on target which is more than we could usually say for Richards, Dodds, Roberts etc.

Been hard for taylor, never being played in his main position, scored some important goals his problems were his defensive side. Personally wouldve kept him for another season I think as a squad player but I'm not that fussed overall. Someone said earlier they would prefer to see dodds go that rigg?!? WOW couldn't disagree more....

 

I'd agree with your Dodds bit, but I like Rigg too so I'd keep both. Would release Haldane because both of those 2 can play on the right and are far better and far more versatile.

 

Also, I would have kept K. Taylor over Gary Roberts personally. Ok he hasn't play enough, but he's the only one that can deliver a good set piece!!! Free kicks he's come closer than anyone this season (smacked the post against macc) whereas Richards' all hit the wall.

Kris Taylor had some cracking assists last season.

 

Priority has to be someone with a good delivery from dead ball situations. We don't make nearly enough of these count.

If Rigg saw as many minutes as Haldane seems to get I think we'd see a different player

 

Rigg played 30 hours and 16 minutes last season.

Haldane played 21 hours and 56 minutes last season.
