TP, good enough for manager of season

He's done very well there in taking a team that was certain to go down under Holloway and getting them to safety with games to spare. Deserved winners last night against Everton.

However, my choice for manager of the year is Brendan Rodgers. Turned a going nowhere Liverpool team into a very useful outfit, playing some great attacking football.

Pulis isn't the only one to do a great job. There's a few managers who stand out this season.

Pulis has done a great job at Palace but so has Sean Dyche at Burnley especially when many of their rivals (QPR, Wigan etc) have the benefit of giant squads courtesy of PL parachute payments. Ditto Eddie Howe and Russell Slade who have both taken unfancied sides into promotion contention.

But arguably the manager of the year, for me, is Russell Wilcox at Scunthorpe who took over in November and is yet to lose. That's 26 games unbeaten - the best-ever start for any manager in English football and surely something that takes some doing in a competitive League Two.

So, while Pulis has undoubtedly done a good job in the media-saturated Premier League, there are some other less-celebrated managers also doing well.

TP won't be getting any awards if these allegations are found to be correct?

I can't stand things like this. Cardiff just end up looking like cry babies.

They had 90 mins to beat Palace & lost. In fact, not only did they lose, they got absolutely battered.

I'm sure I could have picked at least 9/11 players from each side & been right.

I'd also go for Sean Dyche.

Burnley were relegation favourites at the start of the season.

In a tough league with a lot of big budget clubs, he's done a superb job.
