Shrewsbury Tickets

Thanks for that.

One drawback seems to be that I can only buy home tickets for the Brighton game for myself online, whereas my Stokie wife can save several friends details online and book a job lot- or am I missing something again?

I think for the Brighton match you can only buy your ST seat but I havent properly checked. You may not be able to buy other tickets as the seats around you may be where fellow ST holders sit. This is definitely the case for me in the Lorne St as they are all ST holders. For the Shrewsbury match I have booked two tickets and chose the blocks I wanted to sit in although I couldnt choose my actual seats.

I did mine ok on line and chose 2 seats. When I went up to Vale to pick tickets up I had different seats than those I ordered!! Ce la vie, not moaning but what's point in asking for certain seats in certain blocks and then being issued with what they like?

Can't see us selling out so no probs in sitting anywhere I suppose?

They gave you different seats as the seats you wanted to buy originally may not have been released by Shrewsbury. I wanted two tickets in Block 4 and so bought 2 tickets in Block 4. When I got them they weren't the tickets I wanted and when queried I was told Shrewsbury hadn't released tickets in this area. So therefore why allow tickets to be on sale in these areas? Stupid!!!

They didn't even manage to bring 600 Vale Park earlier on in the season, which is embarrassing regardless of their league position.

Hopefully they will soon exit League One and go back down to a level of Football where they belong.

I still reckon we'll take somewhere inbetween 1,100-1,250. Not amazing, but not rubbish either.

We could take more if we got a good points return from our preceding two home games. I think unless we take at least 6 pts from the next 9 on offer we'll be out of the playoff picture.

West Midlands Police allowed Walsall v Shrews to kick off at 3pm in the FA Cup this season, despite very significant trouble in Shrewsbury the season before.

So it seems West Midlands Police can handle a bit of merely-potential bother, but West Mercia Police can't.

Once again, the police show their power to dictate to football clubs without even having to justify it.

It's a ******** kick-off time.

Note that Swansea /Cardiff kicks off at 5-30 this Saturday. Interesting!
