I also think he hopes that having Page as manager will appease the fans but I honestly think he doesn't expect fans to turn, well I have some news for you Smurfmeister if you think you have had stick now I doubt you can imagine what it will be like if you let Adams go without a fight,i think 70% of the fan base could turn.

We know you read this so come on don't be so stubborn offer MA the deal he deserves to be offered, never always been a big fan but the man has worked a minor miracle at Vale with all that's gone on and with whats still going on,i will be quite sad if he goes tbh

I like Smurf and thank him for everything BUT this really does smell of a non footballing man messing with the future of PVFC,get Adams signed and we can keep players and sign players who we might not thought would of come if not for Adams being here,i don't think we can take this gamble, all the hard work of Adams and the fans etc could all be undone by a bit naivity

Spot on.

You'd have thought there was some other news Headlining the Senile back page like important 3rd

Round FA Cup tie news. Will the Senile reporter be dishing out copies of their rag instead of programmes to the players at about 7.15pm?

What's more important? A one of cup match or potentially losing our manager and our best players? You'll probably say the prize money, but £67,500.00 isn't going to pay for Adams, Dicko, Lines, Loft and Neal next season. I'd say keeping them was more important than winning one match.

I can't see how you can have a dig at The Sentinel for reporting this. Taken in by Normans anti-sentinel propaganda?

The most important Port Vale agenda today is the cup- tie IMO,I'm sorry if club politics have taken over your life Cheeky."3 years is what you've had"Quote - M Adams.

I disagree. It's not club politics taking over my life wanting the team to continually improve and to keep our best players. I'd rather we kept the above mentioned players than win a one off cup match definitely, without a doubt.

The prize/gate money will get us a bit of back up this season for sure, longer term deals are in the laps of the agents/ players/ manager/owner.This lot could have waited 'til after tonight. If Smurf wants to go he can go,same for Micky and the players. The players have signed short term deals to give themselves that option.I'd sooner things were settled but I fear there's too much back room aggro for that.BTW 4-0 for Vale tonight.get on it!;)

Sadly I cant see it being anywhere near an easy 4-0 win:(

I also think that adams staying would be to the benefit of PVFC... not at any cost though... it has to be within reason.

JEZZZZZZZ DING,this is a first,I actually agree with yer,I would love to have both SMURF/ADAMS at the club next season,I would also love to have a £10,000,000 player budget,mangers/players and agents are money grabbers which is distroying football from the top league to the bottom,No one knows what wagers ADAMS is on but Bratt did say he paid him big to come back,ADAMS as had a fare whack out of this club and he as helped get us to were we are but we can not afford to keep giving out generous pay rises.

My thoughts exactly sir. No one has been a bigger critic of Micky at times than I but he knows how to unite a team and his efforts this season deserve great praise. NS on the other hand ......well slowly he is losing the backing of most of the fanbase and if he doesn't fight to keep Micky then many will never forgive him.

Cullo summed it up well on Saturday when he said that the chairman should make the manager a decent offer and if he turns it down then it won't be the chairman's fault if MA were to leave.

It is getting tedious , fans assuming, guessing and trying to put a spin on everything NS or MA says , it IS like a game to some people , to stir as much 5hite as possible .

It's more to do with conflicting stories coming out from the club itself and causing confusion than fans 5hit stirring. The comments are in response to the Sentinel article. The Sentinel are reporting what both NS & MA have said.
