I was lucky enough to be Ray Walkers Guest at Crewho today and i can say Ray was very impressed with Liner today........And squad wise he was very impressed with Vale today..........
Ray Walker, God. What ever Ray says Jimmy must be right. Lines is a top class player in my eyes and we need to build this side around him.

Lines was my mom today absolutely brilliant followed by Duffy and Robertson ....and we'll done to rob Taylor as well to be out as long as he has and have the pace in that last five minutes to run the length of the field and nearly score but for a brilliant save by their keeper was a joy to watch

Great result and performance today top marks all round

Totally agreed John.

Summed my thoughts up there exactly.

Really is showing now his class, pace and ability to pick out the perfect passes.

In games he seems to come on and on the longer the time goes and he glides past tiring defenders and midfielders as though they weren't there.

A must to keep in our ranks for a long, long time please. His growing partnership with Lofty and others is inspiring us on to great things.

Agreed. We really need to get him signed up longer term.

This is a massive fear of mine as I am sure he is being watched by a number of teams now,for me I hope that he appreciates Adams bringing him here and will hopefully sign for another couple of years(I do think we will have to push the boat out a little wages wise though as we will have to do to get to the next level but imo he is worth that),I also think that Adams staying will be crucial in talks to sign these players up.

I think you need to go back to John Green since we have had a player with the class of Lines. He really is a pleasure to watch.

What is funny is how SOME on here were really slating him at the start of the season for being slow etc,yet I have always said said it was the other players not on the same wavelength,he was putting passes into areas where players should of been and now I think the other players are totally tuned in.

Agreed, the guy is class and yet at the start those who prefer the headless chicken approach were quick to pan him.

Credit to Adams though for the way he has handled Lines. He had a sticky spell, got dropped, but has come back firing on all cylinders. Hopefully he is one that they make a priority to get signed up.
