This bloke has been the best player on the pitch for the last few games now. He really is the best player I have watched since Bridge-Wilkinson or Brammer but he is arguably better. He ran the show second half without breaking sweat. Ability wise, and ability to pick a pass, he is a class above!

I think we need to go a little bit further back than those 2 to have seen a better midfielder/ footballer at the Vale.

Pick up on the word 'since'. I was talking recent memory and was not counting the likes of Andy Porter or Ray Walker but make no mistake, this guy is a class act and only a Manager like Adams could have picked him. He should be playing Championship football.

Totally agree - and with decent headwind he might soon be - with the Vale!

He certainly is a class above the rest of his peers. Can come across laid back at times though and I'm sure he has another gear in him we're yet to see.

I was lucky enough to be Ray Walkers Guest at Crewho today and i can say Ray was very impressed with Liner today........And squad wise he was very impressed with Vale today..........

As i said Ray Walker rates him.....Sign the lad up ASAP......

Understand he is one booking away from suspension. We will certainly miss him if/when he misses a game.

 

Some credit must go to Griff because he is allowing him the freedom in midfield. I remember some people were saying earlier this season that Lines does prefer to play with the type of player Griff is and it is certainly showing in games.
