Champions League Final,2013

180,000 Germans travel to London for the Champions League Final at Wembley between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Views and opinions please.

Whoever wins there are bound to be one lot of sour krauts, and if it goes to penalties it'll mean a German team has to lose on penalties at last.

(someone is bound to say 'better than invading Poland' as well.)

New year on year winners again and Bayern have served their apprenticeship to get to win in the end. I don't think they are a great team unlike Barcelona of 2010/11. Barcelona will regret they were unable to get a fit side out to play Bayern in the semi and particularly Messi up front and the whole defence. Not even the manager was fit suffering from cancer.

The Premier League with its new TV deal and Barcelona, Real Madrid and La Liga in general significantly out muscle the German league financially. In the case of the Premier League in the next season TV rights sold will be 10 times higher by value than Germany. And so a German dynasty is unlikely. Barcelona are moving in the market place and so too will Real Madrid, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City etc. I think Bayern will be another club unable to retain the title. Dortmund will remain a force in Germany but will lose too many key players to reach the final again next year. The best hope for the German teams is the attrition of competitiveness in the Premier League and La Liga.

You're so biased towards Barcelona, it's painful to read.

You just can't give credit where it's due can you. The Spanish teams were destroyed, out player and tactically out thought. You would think for a second team you could be less blinkered. You just sound silly now.
