Champions League Final,2013

Recommended Posts

The problem with your analysis is that Barcelona have a young team and the two German sides have older players. Messi is only 25 and Iniesta only 26 etc. Far from there being a shift in power to Germany, Barcelona and Real Madrid will strengthen their teams.

This is cringeworthy, for a start Iniesta is 29. And to state that La Liga is the best league in the world is laughable. Ant then to state the german teams are not particually good. You are the biggest WUM ever.

There is no debating with you, you are literally off your nut. Why you want to take a length off everything associated with Barca is beyond me

Two good signings for Bayern but if Real Madrid sign Bale and Suarez,it will only make them stronger as well.

Sure, but I still think Bayern are more of a team and have a better squad. For them to sign Bale and Suarez you're surely looking at least £90 million for the pair?

Liverpool would be silly to let Suarez (who is under contract and happy at the club) go for anything less than 40 million if they had to sell him for whatever reason.

But Warren that's the future, this thread is about the season just gone and there is no doubt that for the season just gone there was a huige shift to Bayern and Germany generally

I can see Bayern taking over Barcelona's mantle of the best team in Europe for the foreseeable future. They're already got an outstanding team and they've added Götze and (seemingly) Lewandowski from Dortmund, along with a brilliant young manager in Pepe Guardiola.

I'm surprised they weren't in for Dortmund's Marco Reus who was one of the best players on the field.
