Its certainly going to be tougher than some fans are making out. Realistcally, we will probably have one of the smallest budgets, but every year a dark-horse emerges from the pack, like Yeovil. Lets hope we are next seasons dark-horse.

How do we know we'll have one of the smallest budgets? We don't know how much money wildes has in reserve nor how much we are willing to spend on transfer fees? Once more speculative comments with nothing to back it up.

I disagree, I think its a terrible league not much different to league 2 but the Championship is a different matter what with half the teams boosted by parachute payments.

To be fair spunkers is right, too a point we got what we deserved in that game although it was a tad unlucky how we lost it(I seem to remember it wasn't a free kick/corner which led to the first goals? awful decision from the ref). However we basically defended far to deep and when that little **** Miller always seems to score against you it's not a good plan!

Had we gone for it a bit more I think we could have had them as Pope was on song at the time if we put the ball in the box, but Blades had the meanest defense out of all 4 leagues. Aside from Blackman they did look pretty ordinary though and I thought Yeovil would beat them if they got at them based on the balance of watching the first leg on TV!

 

It will be nice to play them at VP for the first time in a while, can't ever remember us beating them at VP in the years I grew up watching Vale in the 90s!
