Obviously Paul, Smurf, Micky and the lads deserve all the credit they are receiving for a fabulous season, but on reflection, I would like to say a massive thankyou to:

Jean

Steve

Tony

Dave

Andy

Simon

Ray

Dean

Alan

Paul

Mike

Mark

Birdy

Malcolm

who started the change over two years ago and helped to ensure Port Vale fans everywhere could enjoy days like yesterday.

I would like to say a big thank you to Mo Chaudry, without his intervention in trying to oust Bratt & Co I doubt We would have got the band wagon rolling,OK it didnt work out for him for whatever reason but he was the catalyst that encouraged the supporters to get mobilised.

This is an extract of an email sent by Bede on 20 Dec 2010. If you're looking for a hero at this great time, look no further than Mr Steve Lockett:

All.

It's time to set in place a true and fair campaign.

I'm sick of reading the board's lies about how 'most fans' support them.

I want a true and clear indicator of how fans REALLY feel.

******** to my questionnaire idea, a black and gold scarf campaign like

Man Utd's is a great way of making a silent protest at matches but also

it can be used to gauge the true feeling amongst the fanbase.

Ian Sheldon has offered his services to us to push for change. He's a

web designer and has offered to build a professional site if required.

So, my thoughts:

Get a website built to clearly explain exactly why we want change and

highlight the long list of mistakes, discrepancies and downright lies

by the current board and their continued block of investment hindering

our club. Jean, Alan, are you willing to get yer quills out to

contribute?

Scarves - Tony Boulton linked a site on OVF that manufacture custom

scarves for two fifty a piece.

Any other ideas? Obviously, we'd need to get our fingers out with

regards to publicity. OVF, Vale Park Beano, Sentinel - Jacko? Radio

Stoke - Alan, Dave, Dean?

Any more ideas folks?

Please please contribute. We need to loosen the grip of the board on

our club whilst we still have interested parties willing to pick up the

pieces.

A very very disgruntled Steve Lockett.
