I don't think you can write any of the teams off who are in the top half, look at Crewe last season.

 

I think Rotherham will come good in the second half and will go up automatic. I know they have a silly result every now and again but if they won there game in hand they will go 4th and a point behind Cheltenham.

 

It's very tight and I'm glad we got all three points today.

 

Hopefully we will go into 2013 very much in great shape to maintain this amazing start.

 

New faces will come in, as will the other clubs strengthen so two or three quality signings and I'm confident we can do it.

 

That last game away at Wycombe could be some party!!!

We've had a great start but still can't help thinking we will find some way of messing it all up! That's what almost 20 years without a promotion does to you I guess!

After that were Shrews, Burton, Swindon, Gillingham, Morecambe, Torquay, Oxford, Rotherham, Vale making up the rest of the top half. Crewe were 16th.

 

On that basis, this season we'd have Gillingham, Southend, Fleetwood and Morecambe going up!! Lolz.

Far too early to decide, especially as there is a plethora of clubs behind us all capable of challenging. I will bask in the glory of being second and will be happy if we remain there for the next 26 league games. Who goes up with us?......I don't particularly care.

 

i agree.yeahwe are 7 points clear of fourth but then i think its 4 points seperate fourth from 13th or something daft.

too early yet, although i am keeping my fiver bet on vale winning the league at 40-1 in my wallet!

The January transfer window will be critical to ALL clubs, there I think we now have a advantage, new owners who actually KNOW what they're doing and with their OWN REAL cash, NOT chuffing dodgy Wonga type loans like the last lot! Micky will be able to have his choice of players falling over themselves to sign [A la Hughes], after xmas I recon.......

If we can get to the 1st January in the top three then I think that the new owners will give MA finincial support to get us over the line in the promotion places.

Personally I don't care who goes up with us bult I don't like Allen and Evans. So I'm sorry but if I had my way I'd say to Gills and the Millers 'It's not you!.

If we're lucky with injuries to key players 1st or 2nd. Luck in that area will have a big part to play - whoever wins the league or finishes in top 3 will be blessed in this area.

We will finish 8th again..needing to win on the last day by four goals and someone else losing by three again!

I dont think Vale will top it BUT i do think we will be top 3 especially if we bring in the quality players like Hughes in January.
