I don't think you can write any of the teams off who are in the top half, look at Crewe last season.

 

I think Rotherham will come good in the second half and will go up automatic. I know they have a silly result every now and again but if they won there game in hand they will go 4th and a point behind Cheltenham.

 

It's very tight and I'm glad we got all three points today.

 

Hopefully we will go into 2013 very much in great shape to maintain this amazing start.

 

New faces will come in, as will the other clubs strengthen so two or three quality signings and I'm confident we can do it.

 

That last game away at Wycombe could be some party!!!

 

I reckon the away game at Rochdale could be the game we clinch promotion..

What was the table looking like this time last year? I know around this time two years ago we had just beaten Stockport 5-0 away to go top, then it went a bit **** up....

Far too early to decide anything yet. Crwho showed last year what you can achieve coming late to the party. I also truly believe if we had not gone into administration and had 10 points deducted, that we to would have gate crashed the party to the playoffs and probably (because we totally dominated the two derby games and should have won both) gained promotion instead of them.

 

Post Xmas will give an early indication of those in the frame for the automatic top 3.

 

As to us, I just hope we don't regret not signing a striker last week to cover for Pope because if he gets injured we will be in trouble until the next transfer window. That said if we get through ok or even do very well up to the reintroduction of the loan window in January, I am sure Micky will strengethen strongly then making us very serious contenders for automatic promotion never mind play-offs
