Good news always followed by bad news at vale

Make's you wonder why the immediate reaction was almost universally,Bill Lodey.;);)

There must be a reason why so many people's reaction (including myself) was the same.

Well, Lodey is the Club Secretary, responsible for all legal aspects and procedures associated with being a football club. Others may well agree transfers, contracts etc, but he is responsible for the necessary communications with the FL, FA, council, police, etc

You conner be a real Vale fan looking at eet that wiy! Are you trying to suggest that when something bad happens it is always followed by something good? That would mean something nice will happen in the near future which is obviously totally unrealistic.

:ninja:

Nice win today and another goal from the promising Williamson who probably would not have played had we signed Hughes! ;)

Sorry to be so negative after a great week for vale but it's hard not to be been a vale fan over recent years! Why do we have such a good week with good news and then get let down on signings on deadline day! It's not the be all and end all but we are happy one minute and left feeling confused the next! I don't think all of you would agree but I think lee Hughes would of made us better! Anyway let's see if the next week brings us good or bad news! Never dull at vale I suppose!

did we miss lee hughes today?

IMHO it's no big deal that LH didn't sign. Putting the moral argument to one side he would have been banned until 21/12/12 anyway and cup tied for next week so could only play a maximum of 3 games before he'd be able to sign permanently on 1/01/13. If doesn't want to sign in the new year then we don't need him.

My thoughts exactly-not so sure we might have liked to have Dagnall sooner tho.TP should make sure he is booked next week so he only misses the JPT game v Bradfd
