its an interesting debate to have

 

dropping the price may work, the flip side is that the attendance v gills showed that fans want to come to watch attacking, exciting football [ sadly lots were let down ]

Good football fills grounds..... if you need price reductions to get a crowd, change the style of play.... if the game is bad you wont be able to give tickets away.

 

If you bought a joint of beef for £5 and it was putrefied would you go back and buy another for £2?.... £1?..... free?

Something needs to be tried but the only way it would work is with exposure and good broadcasting .

Our last two home performances have been tepid so as a person who runs a football club u have to take into consideration that.

We got bums on seats v Gillingham at full price 6300 odd Vale and unfortunately we didnt play well ( mate at work who goes the odd game says they were terrible and won't go again )so the million dollar question is how do we get this type of fan back in the ground.

I tell u how u do a buy a ticket from the ticket from the ticket office and port a cabin before mon,make a offer that ends on Saturday a family ticket ,don't care if it's a Dad his two daughters and three sons 20 pounds all in.

Football is generally a overpriced hobby but if Burton can charge 14 quid for Adults then why can't we .

Get folk in the ground , I don't care how door to door selling, big mac and free Vale Ticket get people in that ground especially the Bycars it's embarrassing !

Id try for one end only the Bycars a 12 pounds Adults 5 quid under 18s and Oaps use your marketing skills Vale then players its down to u keep them coming back !

Hope you are right but in a way that was my point...didn't take much for those extra people to stop coming and not convinced that 6 points form next two games will get them back. We shall see
