Any scheme requiring the issue of tickets is doomed to failure - Vale's ticket office

has a history of struggling with organisation.

 

We also have some of the slowest turnstile operators around, so the prospect

of people having to wait for change and the issue of a ticket for the next home game

is a nightmare in the making.

 

Keep it simple for all concerned - £10 adults, youths £5, kids £1.00

 

As for the game last season "not working" even at a fiver, I don't think

you can compare the two occasions.

 

That was a Friday night (when folks are generally doing stuff), we were in

rank form and off the back of an awful FA Cup defeat to Grimsby.

 

This time we are in ace form, with optimism high, a team to be proud of,

and a chance to go see a game on an otherwise boring Monday night.

 

Having said all that, the game is only a week away and as nothing official

has been announced we must assume that the prices won't change.

 

Which virtually guarantees a sub-4k gate.

Why don't we try this :

 

Let's make entrance free on the night, and people can donate what they thought the match was worth at buckets by the exits.

 

Saves on queues to get in. We still have the cash from season tickets, we get the cash from Sky and people will still buy pies etc.

 

Revolutionary, yes.......madness?, maybe.

Just found out the 'in laws' are visiting next week, so we have to go for a steak instead!!

 

I can arrange for the "in-laws" to have an accident if you would like to see the game.:yes:

 

Nothing too drastic or painful.................................... more of a delaying tactic that would inconvenience them more than anything else.;)

 

Seeing as you're a vale fan, I'll do you a "2 for the price of 1 special" Just let me know.:whistling:
