The Sentinel, along with about half a dozen Sunday newspapers, has printed a League 2 table with Vale in 3rd place behind Fleetwood. Heaven knows why, but the source of this error has Vale with 9 in the goals against column, not 7. I'm disappointed our local paper couldn't get this correct. All they had to do was click on the club website. Wake up lads!

The Stokeinel would rather write about how many times crouch accidentally handled the ball and got away with it or the mighty Potters unbeaten league start even though they haven't won in the Prem when they beay Wolves in April

Think this criticism is not necessary. As you say, many papers, Metro included made the error. This will be because they all have the same supplier. The Sentinel should hardly be blamed for not cross checking the league table with alternative sources, am fairly sure the employees have many more priorities!

 

And also your 'wake up lads' comment could be seemed sexist. Women are employed in sports media!
