Jayden Stockley mentioned that the players had a meeting on Monday and then Dan mentioned what Jayden had said to Darren but judging by Darren's reply IMO he definitely wasn't happy about Jayden mentioning it.

Stockley isn't first on my teamsheet but if I'm trying to come up with something for Darren I would suggest starting him and Cole up front, maybe go 3-4-1-2 with Hall in the #10 where he belongs.

Moore came across as it was the players and him against all the outside noise the support in a way thats right also .

I don't get that at all. Personally, I think it`s good to hear a senior player like Stockley speaking up and his eloquence, positivity and clarity is very welcome. It doesn't mean anything without performances improving, of course.

Interesting that Stockley hadn’t asked DM for clearance to raise it in the interview. Perhaps it’s better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission but we’ll find out when the team sheet comes out on Satdee. All is not well, methinks.

I also feel like we would need one physical defender in the two, so Heneghan or Debrah in for Hall (Heneghan on current form).

I don’t mind a manager staying for a long term project, even through relegation, if they can show some kind of tactical nous and idea to be able to change things. Moore doesn’t have that. Coupled with the fact that his football is, at the best of times, uninspiring and you can see why fans do t want him as the s long term project.

It then gives the chance for the likes of Byers garrity Stockley cole Croasdale to keep their fitness levels up in the football trophy and fa cup. And let my team shine in the league 

 

I think Curtis passing / ball retention / immense work rate and ability to take take dead balls from his own half make him an obvious central midfield choice. I’d probably also make him captain 

 

Marosi in goal will lead to the defence not switching off and being completely focussed as they know if the ball goes near him the opposition will score. It’s not ideal but these are the kinds of things we should try
