Moore’s Saturday: Lincoln at 3, LinkedIn at 5.

Even if we do lose tomorrow I still fear the club will not act whilst we are doing well in cup competitions( a bit like with Crosby and the Carabao cup)

For the record I don’t think we’ll lose tomorrow. Low block and compact all over the pitch and maybe we’ll have a few chances of our own.

Well me and my lad are going. I like Lincoln as a place to go and we normally chalk this one off when we’re in the same league (although we never have much luck there).

Up the top end by the cathedral and castle - proper oldie world feel about it and some cracking real ale pubs, then a stroll down bank and through the town centre to the ground.

What I really want is just to enjoy going to football again and I feel it’s been ripped from me at the moment - I was lucky enough to be around as a 20 year old in the 96-97 season and the sheer excitement/buzz/dream feeling of “could we actually?” before the game against Wolves at home.

I get that we’re a million miles away from that and I’ll certainly never experience football at that level again while I’m on this planet - but I can’t ever remember feeling this utterly devoid of any feelings at all about going to watch a match.

I want the manager to show some fight and passion

I want the players to do the same

I want the team to play hard and give us something to get behind them.

I won’t boo whatever happens on Saturday - never have - but don’t begrudge those that do either. I just want to enjoy it all again…

Have a good day out in Lincoln , and hopefully we’ll get a point , but it’s unlikely.
Since you mention the great times in the 90’s , I wondered what would the likes of Bogie, Porter , McCarthy , Musselwhite etc  , think if Darren Moore had been their manager? He’d be laughed out of sight.

I think this is the correct formation . I don’t like Curtis so as a stop gap I’d pick hall left back and Headley where curtis is . But I appreciate that’s playing hall out of position

I guess you pay your money … no wrong answers to left back issue mate, mind Moore will probably try Ben Amos there Saturday lol

I genuinely used to think that LinkedIn was called Linkelin.

I know plenty wont agree but this really is a must win game for me and especially for DM

No offence mate but I think it’s more important for DM than you.

are you a bot ?? am i a bot ??? wtf is the world coming to ! discus !!UTFV

This about senior players and meetings make me  laugh.

DM has frozen out his senior players in Ojo, Byers, Shipley, Stockley & Curtis but now ‘I  need you lads to save my job’

Car crash management.

I don’t see anything other than a defeat tomorrow. I can only hope Carol finally pulls the plug. Really feel like she’s wasted the past 4 weeks. Relegation will be on Carol’s lack of action and urgency again.

not looking forward to this game at all tomorrow. this is one of those fixtures that wont define our season. our season is being defined by awful football , an inability to score goals and poor results against teams at the bottom of the table. Moore Out.

Couldn't have put it better , me sen 👋

After everything that has been said and done this week all of the players are under huge scrutiny. Moore simply has to deliver soon. I think we'll lose to Lincoln and win our two cup games. We need a miracle to stay up, three or four decent signings could mean we finish top of the bottom five league we are in.

No chance , Darren shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the Jan transfer window

He's had long enough already , nowts gonna change until he's gone

I’m more a shot putter myself but each to their own when it comes to field events.
