We are just lacking the quality to take control as usual. Draw would be an excellent result at this point. There is effort from the boys but no end product. 
 

Nice play from GHall, Cole and Ojo looks assured in the middle. 
 

CHall looks like an easy man to beat, again. Just no pace. 
 

Could see Lincoln extending the lead from here. 

No lack of effort and battle today, just a clear lack of quality. Same story, start well and concede, then it’s over.

 

I just can’t understand the rationale for keeping Moore at this point. Nothing will change unless we make a change.

We have played ok, but we rely on players like Hall and Curtis to pick the ball up deep, beat a man, take a 1-2 etc. before the strikers are even within range. Can’t score goals in this defensive shape and leave it all up to wingbacks.

He will only buy more goal keepers and defence minded players.  Then panic and get a striker no one wants.  As per previous windows he has had.

You would hope they have started thinking about a replacement and drafted the advert - but this is Vale after all and no doubt they will waste time thinking about things and backing DM & CO.  Then pull the trigger at the start of the window and by the time they put someone in place, window closed and its a impossible task for the new manager to save the club.

Played ok but getting bullied at times, you know Lincoln are going to be physical and direct but it’s just a bit meh.

Switch off once on the break get punished. Same story every week really and not many positives to take.

Game looks done.

Lincoln more athletic and decisive than us. Our attacking play looks tentative at best.

When I watch Heneghan play I still can believe he couldn’t get in the side until the last couple of matches.

This is absolutely terrible. Losing all second balls. Why bother playing Stockley if we aren’t gonna get the bloody thing in the box. Pretty much every single cross we’ve had has been blocked. Compare that to them when every one comes in. Also when Stockley does win a header, no one’s anywhere near him to pick up the scraps.

Also, George Hall is overrated imo. No end product. Looks good with his dribbling but ultimately does nothing. He also doesn’t track back.

Hanging C Hall out to dry as well. Obviously he’s doing a job for us at left back. But numerous times he’s been given the ball needlessly under pressure, or he’s had no options so has resorted to lumping it. We have to help him out more.

This performance again just screams the manager doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing tactically. The players have also been crap, but imo a manager who actually has a clue would get more out of them.
