That wasn't a direct shot though as it was a b8llock dropped by our loanee keeper only to be saved by a goal line clearance

They are 4 4 2 but their full backs against us are playing 2 4 4   Easily beating us down both wings AND they get crosses / passes to the front men.

Stockley hardly had a decent ball so far. He has to stretch or fight for every ball. Poor service.

Curtis header, Garrity header - why do we miss these chances. Its poor quality

In fairness every 50 / 50 challenge goes top them, every loose ball goes to them. This happens to teams that are certain to be relegated and we are certain to be relegated.

Radical change in formation, everyone charging around, no obvious plan. We’re effectively hoping to scrap our way to something.

I dont understand why some think we were playing better its the same old same old we cant keep possession we are giving the strikers no service we get forced back by a better team through their wide players then its just a matter of waiting for our mistake.

 

Meanwhile we get a couple of half chances and miss them.

Well this half is going to tell a lot about the effect of that players meeting. I want to see a <ovf censored> you attitude from the players and thoughtful adjustments from DM not his usual throw as many strikers on as possible.

No goals in however many games, no shots on target this half. I’d ask how long this can go on for but I don’t think I want to know the answer

 

The positives (such as they are) are that we’re battling, the players looking like they care, just too many don’t have the ability. Agree with what some have said that some of these players just aren’t L1 quality. Every time something comes through Connor Hall it breaks down, the man just can’t pass and for me it’s crucial we replace him. Curtis always looks like he’s about to offer something but never does, sticks a few thunderous challenges in but we need him to be able to beat a man or put a decent ball in, and it just doesn’t happen. 
 

The last few games I’ve been absolutely furious with the levels of performance and capitulation. Today I feel like we’re being beaten by a side who are simply better than us. I don’t think it grants Moore any additional slack though

Also, George Hall is overrated imo. No end product. Looks good with his dribbling but ultimately does nothing. He also doesn’t track back.

Hanging C Hall out to dry as well. Obviously he’s doing a job for us at left back. But numerous times he’s been given the ball needlessly under pressure, or he’s had no options so has resorted to lumping it. We have to help him out more.

This performance again just screams the manager doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing tactically. The players have also been crap, but imo a manager who actually has a clue would get more out of them.

This is all because we don’t have an identity or settled pattern of play. If/when we score again from open play this season, I guarantee it won’t be a well-worked goal, it’ll be scrappy picking up on ‘bits & pieces’ that have dropped to us.

And if it fails it's fuel for Moore to say that he acquiesced to what everyone was asking for and it doesn't work... back to his way of losing...

For me this is what I struggle to square with what Hancock was referring to when he said that they can see signs of us winning football games. I’d love to know what they are
