Match Thread - Port Vale v Plymouth Argyle

You must of done well in life based on those above comments
Not too bad but I'd certainly back myself and ability to get the best I can be. If I were offered a job for more money, there would be a few factors I would take into consideration...one of which would be can I actually do even better than that? Is it going to progress my career? Is the company that I am moving to on the up? In my opinion, he's literally jumped at the first sniff of more money, irrelevant of anything else. Just leaves a sour taste that after 6 half decent months he literally couldn't wait to jump ship to a team in the same league. I agree with Joe, why is everyone so magnanimous about it?

Back your ability man!

Unless Mr Moore changes his approach I'm afraid other than the odd occasion the opposition wilt in this league we will inevitably succumb. Mid table aspirations on board a steady ship would of been ideal. Unfortunately management are making this season look like a water ride at alton towers.

Just seen that the last time anyone, other than Tolaj, scored a league goal for them was September 27th

And we have only scored 1 league goal since that date

That’s definitely a sackable “ offence” .

Tolaj loved the player he is gone .

Surely Vale are going score soon

Go the game ,get behind the team .

Sick of saying it 3 home games in league no goals .

Give us something Vale

Love Vale but there a hard love they do my head in league 1

I think they go into every game with no belief

Got a manager whos more concerned about the opposition than bigging up his own players.

Play a top six side

Do we ever score against any of these

For me a mentally weak football club

Are you going show me and the other 6800 season tickets any different.

Time too become strong and silence the misery gut supporters who can not handle league 1 like you cannot players ,manager .

If you can time too show it .

Big weekend for Darren — could be make or break. I think it may get pretty toxic around 2:30 if we don’t take all three points.

We all know what Tolaj brings, and keeping him quiet is going to be huge.

Tolaj was fantastic for us last year and was probably the main reason we ended up getting promoted — proper player.

He’ll be desperate to come here and make a statement. I’ve got nothing against the lad and don’t blame him for moving on — most of us would take better money in our own jobs.

He’ll probably get a few boos, which is expected, but let’s not turn it into the Tolaj Show. The focus has to be on us and what we do.

Well to be honest thats really good

How many have Vale sold on top of season ticket holders for this game

How many folk who come when gates were averaging 10k wouldnt give Vale the time of day anymore .

Gates were going up but poor performances /results on pitch well for CS thats not good as the lady wants 10k crowds ,so players need to bring wins aplenty and get these people back too the ground .

My sons one of them die hard since he was 6 months old (3-3 draw with Swindon Vale 3 up )i cannot even buy him a ticket anymore he says im too tired  as works away all week or im going gym instead as he as recently joined my gym m club.

Everyone wants too enjoy the games however

league position and overall experience and enjoyment of the games ,well everyones got too up there game,if not   less folk will be giving up free time to go home unhappy all the time

6300 Vale last sat (ON a Sat )we have 6800 season ticket holders so some of them have not enjoyed paying for season ticket and already not attending even though paid for it ,there choice but  obviously if seeing a 0 by Port Vales name weekly at home who can blame them .

I want Carol show this too the players

I await there response because a few weeks ago you had thousands here v Arsenal .

My question to you is why didnt you keep them coming here

Tolag moved from Switzerland to I think Brighton , he then moved to Aldershot (but may have still lived around Brighton. He then Moves to Burslem and lives up here . He then has the opportunity to move to a club who has historically been bigger and higher up the league than us , on more money and able to live in Devon .   Hello - I love Staffordshire because I was born and bred here - But come on , more money and assisted home in Devon.  He has no long term affiliation to North Staffs or any other place in England . He is just looking for a better place to earn a crust and have a decent life .....until his next move. Devon is a step up  .  He has backed his ability, its just that Plymouth back the wrong manager.

I’m told this fact that I found quite interesting. Of the 66 teams that were in the football league when Argyle joined in 1920/21 and have also remained continually in the football league since. Only PVFC and PAFC have not played in the old first division/Prem.
