Im stuck between having given up and thinking its not worth wasting the money, and being angry the club has given up and is having a fire sale, so why should i even care.

My big worry is momentum though. If we go into league 2 not looking close to winning a game it will effect not only season tickets but i fear it could continue into next season. Ultimately they need to stop the rot somehow.

Prepare for national league, then anything else is a bonus.

Well said

Was looking at where Shrewsbury are in the league

That could be us next season if we aren't careful

Well no inside info but i reckon 9 out the door 5 in come end of play mon

Surely Archer and cannot pronouce the other aint going be only ones coming in especislly with  RP has alledgedly being cast off when he as a goal /assist in him weekly /gamely .

I dont get it we dont lose games because of RP he doesnt miss big chances like DC  and DB have ok 1 v Northampton when only used for 5 mins so probably not up to the speed of the game

Matter of opinion think Bradies got him wrong .

If CS is winding it down then it will become more and more apparent as games go by

Not that she is but Vale fans do take it out on the family and for me well thats not right .

If someone gives you a good budget for players and the said players come in and do not perform then thsts on recruitment not CS she can only go on whos advising her which was Moore

Glad Bradies going gung ho ,dont agree with RP though he as put the ball of the season v Exeter away, for Coles goal , he as 4 goals /assists in 7 league starts and you can tell  a mile off he wants do well ..

UTV

If we make no more signings I think this goes down as the worst transfer window for port vale. Worst I can remember anyway.

I'll be surprised if there isn't a flurry of activity still to come.

If I’m honest I think we will struggle not because of finance but because the environment is toxic beyond belief at Vale from top to bottom. That will be well known in footballing circles. I have no evidence of that it’s just a gut feeling based on experience.

You can’t build the kind of “perfect” environment that the club strives for and certainly not in football. Those environments start out wonderful then become overly toxic very quickly. The good you have done gets forgotten and is replaced with resentment, frustration and anger. We saw it with  Flitcroft and Clarke et el. They went from “God” like status to demons in the blink of an eye. At a guess Carol is great when things are going well and very supportive but any show of subordination and I bet it’s not a good place to be. You see it in workplaces all the time, people come in and everyone loves everyone blah, blah blah and then the wheels come off. Then it can become very difficult to change and you have to move people round and get rid of people.

I honestly don’t think we are seeing a lack of willing to invest I think we are seeing the fall out from what is a horrible place to be at the present moment.

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Create a wonderful environment and the toxicity will be waiting there to take hold at the first opportunity.

I think this started when the likes of Steve Speed and various people who had been there for years, were shipped out.

Colin Garlick went, Flitcroft in,and then a series of people employed with various titles.

Now we have someone to do Football Strategy, someone for Recruitment, someone for this and that.

Letting Darren Moore control everything.

Carol has passed too much responsibility and trust onto others and we are in a far worse place than we were pre-Moore

If players want to move then let em.

Fans have been let down big time

Given the business we've done so far I will be amazed if we bring in 5 (or even 3) more.

I don’t know. The one where we sold Granty and Alnwick has to be up there
