Why would he want to be here when the club has given up? What would  you do? Stay with a side guaranteed to be in league2 and probably take a wage reduction or go to a bigger side who could go up and get a wage rise

Tbh I’d stay and fight, I’d be that ashamed of being seen as being a loser, but hey that’s just me, I have morals

And some are believing it. Madness

He had some great opportunities in the summer with a couple of clubs but they let him down. 😂

Idiots on this forum actually believe he’s going to be good.
“Give him a chance”.

Any bloke at 27, without a club for 8 months, of any worth, would have been snapped up and not had to go to Workington.

This manager is a fraud. A bigger one than Moore. It will all unravel.

Just because I have differences to you Alan doesn’t mean I have “challenges”.

Many think you’re a <ovf censored>.

Its the way the forum works and sadly we aren’t all on the same page because of the clueless owner.

You might come to regret that clueless owner quip.

As I said previously, I am a Cobblers fan, I originally joined this forum to find out your opinions on the clown that was Rob Page, he didnt last very long with us..  Iwont go into my opinions on Brady except to say that he was OK for us, yeah I know we got promoted but it wasnt very inspiring football, and he had very few contacts to call upon, lots of loans will beckon your way. Maglorie is an absolutely appalling prima donna of a signing, who will cry off at the first available opportunity. I dont wish to outstay my welcome, so I will sign out. Best of luck, we probably will be meeting in league two again next year, and I like my trips to Burslem, old skool pubs and town centre grounds are always a good day out. 🙂

Not to dispute your opinions, but can you expand on Magloire being a prima donna? It has been reported that he suffered some serious injuries at Northampton. I was more concerned about him being a crock, but you are implying it is more of a mental thing?

It will all unravel, always does at this club. I don't expect this lad is going to light the world on fire but then the player I'd be comparing him to is Jesse Debrah, not exactly the highest of bars to overcome as he was non league as well. We look like and are complete rubbish at the moment so I'm not at all surprised at where we are fishing for signings right now.

As for JB... any failure he oversees will continue to be a reflection of how we are being run anyway. I just hope and want things to go right for once.

It's crap ofc but then so are we right now. Only one person you can ultimately lay that on.

Too think what we have gone through this season and supporters are debating whether Jesse Deborah should of been transferred tells me we are content with league two status. Strap yourselves in because the overhaul has just begun and with good reason.

People arguing about this player and that player is laughable really given that collectively our current squad amounts to 18 points…

Any of them can and could go as non of them have shown the desire, fight or quality needed to play for our Port Vale.

150 years of history and thankfully, no hopefully most of this lot are binned off now or at the end of the season. They are all an embarrassment to the badge they are currently wearing.

The talk of Magloire playing 25 games at League One level in 2024-25. Well, only six of those were league starts.

Not bothered about Cole leaving at all. He had a bright start, but has been pants for months, and doesn't offer a lot if he's not 5 yards from the goal. He's also well past his best and probably on a big wage.

Personally I want as many as the current squad moving on as possible. Absolute bunch of failures.

Not overly bothered one way or the other Magloire signing.  It's a short-term deal and at least he'll be hungry to stay in league football.  We aren't an attractive side for players to join. If he doesn't perform he'll be part of the end of season exodus.

What is more concerning is the name players jumping ship now Moore has left. I suspect a few joined because it was Darren Moore and never really had the club at heart. I'd be a little surprised if the Cole rumour isn't true. I'm not sure Byers would really fancy another season in League 2.

On paper this was a much better squad than 3/4 seasons ago. On the pitch clearly not. Most of the squad have 200 plus appearances at League 1/Championship level. Yes a few have relegations under there belt but also top 10 finishes and promotions. I'd be a little surprised if the dressing room was as harmonious as Moore claimed.  Nearly all the squad lose the one on one with their opposite number. The only exception is Kyle John, who for whatever reason often doesn't get picked.  Defensively we have been even more shambolic since moving to a back 4. It was pretty obvious that playing 3 at the back wasn't the reason we were poor. We were poor partly because we lost confidence but also we lost key battles at key moments.

I could push over Eddie Hall if I catch him off balance.

Yes, but you wouldnt play him at centre half would you (though i expect Darren Moore would have tried him at right wing back given a chance. Everyone gets to play right wing back at least once.)

There was the possibility Debrah had more scope to develop.

This is a great example of time in football. No fan has given then Jesse the time or chance to develop. The club are now in the <ovf censored> with a new manager and they arent going to give him the time to develop either. It’s all about being ready now and performing.

Tbf, most fans are very quick to jump on players for poor performances or not doing what they think a player in their position should be doing (and not necessarily what the player should be doing as per tactics). See fans not rating Cole despite him being the only person in the team scoring.

Jesse developed into a FL defender with us (I'm sure someone will come along with an abusive response that he's awful), just L1 a step too far for him but not really helped by the rest of the team struggling too.

The scores of fans using the phrase 'donkey' to put down a black player is absolutely disgraceful as well. Lot of braindead "fans" out there.
