Ok. So somebody pointed this out to me.
You do realise your anger towards me helps nobody?

I also live rent free in your head for some reason and yet we support the same club.
Very strange.

Do you really think I want us to get drubbed? Absolutely not. But I fear it’s inevitable. Again.

And I know how much you hate me. That’s fine. But let me give you a scenario………

It’s Gillingham at home. We lose but eh  it doesn’t matter. It’s great. We are up. We even have a trophy to hold aloft for finishing second.
Then Carol comes out with good old Paddy. She spends minutes on the mic on the pitch. She does the famous fist bump. And we all laugh and giggle (if that’s what you’re into) as Paddy gets his haircut.
And then……

As we leave the stadium I say to you that in January, the club will be rock bottom of league one, can’t buy a win, have set the record for the longest time without a goal, Tolaj has left and had a dig at how tinpot we are, Ojo is back in the side despite being a cancer at the club for two years with his attitude, Moore will be sacked, Ronan will want out, Debrah has lost the plot, the player we signed to replace Tolaj wants out, the owners and their family won’t front anything, Wolstanton Utds finest is running the gaff, the head of recruitment is in Portugal, a bloke with no real credibility in league football will take charge and by the way he will sign an absolute crock who he thinks is the answer, from the 7th tier, because he worked with him before, as an answer to our defensive problems and all this less than 72 hours to get anyone in to save our season.
And by the way, the bloke we just sacked has openly come out and said in an interview that basically we are a tinpot outfit with no ambition.

Now. Packmoor.
Have a go at me all you want.
I couldn’t care less.
But probably park your anger with the football club in general and not somebody you’ve ever met on a forum.

We’re all Vale aren’t we? Used to be the old adage. And yes, I get you think I’m only on here when things are going bad.
Take a look at Carols tenure. It’s hardly been a footballing love in.
Two disgraceful league two campaigns and a let’s cut the season short because I’m so nice even though we could go up.

She is way out of her depth at owning a football club. 16 million in loans. And apart from a nice scoreboard and seats in the Lorne street we can’t use, it’s garbage football wise.

But fans like you will knock fans like me, so carry on, but don’t get angrier when we are mid to lower league 2 next January.

My post was aimed at u because your trying advise me how not to spend my money on the club

Im fully aware of the <ovf censored> situation we are in and what’s coming next under Brady

I was also fuming at the Gillingham performance in front of a full house for a promotion party it was pretty <ovf censored>

Let’s be honest here the money the family spent that got us promoted that season didn’t they deserve to be on the pitch

Carol may be struggling but she put her faith and money into flitcroft for the fans to hound him out She then turned to DC again fans hounded him out So now we have a new manager and looks like he is having a clear out to most people’s annoyance it will be months maybe weeks b4 he is hounded out

And just for the record you don’t live rent free in my head

I agree though we’re all vale

This is an inaccurate rewriting of history.

Flitcroft leaving was the best decision she's ever made, even though it was far too late and he never should have been in that position in the first place.

Clarke left a year before Flitcroft did. Clarke was not hounded out.

I think most people can see what an utter disaster Moore has created and left behind, and what an utter disaster the club has contributed to by keeping him on for such an excessively long duration. The same people can see all of that isn't Brady's fault.

Well done then to the fans who didn’t hound DC out after what he went through 👍

It’s not inaccurate its facts

Tbf @Brian Johnson this Vale fan has said he has heard the same rumour about Devante. So, I reckon it is probably true.

If he wants to go then get him gone,I dont want anyone playing for the club who wants out BUT as i said previously any monies made from these deals has to be spent on a striker currently scoring goals even if that's at a lower level and now while there is still that slim chance of staying up...... if the club have thrown in the towel in January then that's a disgrace for me considering we spend our hard earned money on supporting the team

DC had the backing of the overwhelming majority of fans, but was sacked after a run of poor form.

It was the complete opposite story to Crosby, Moore, and to a lesser extend Askey.

According to fans "in the know", who were invited to special meetings with the club's hierarchy, DC was being not nice behind the scenes, and that was the reason he was sacked. Something similar has happened with another member of staff this month.

All reminds me of Manchester United after Matt Busby i.e. how not to run a football club.

As this is the rumours thread(I think 🙂 ) As someone posted last night,a Grimsby fan linked us to a move for Cameron McJannet, now i know this is off a random fan but at least it's a rumour

Does anyone know anything about McJannet, the position he plays for them

I would guess that todays squad will be very telling on which players still have a future at the club,I am hoping to not see Shipley and Ojo in it

Hernandez from Norwich linked to us. Don’t see it myself.
Who? [emoji848]Not seen this rumour knocking about!

32yr old LW/LM played around 200 games for Norwich but got released in the summer,Charlton signed him on a short term deal in September and then they released him a couple of days ago so he is now a free agent

Really? If you genuinely think that then I dread to think what you thought of the likes of Danny Whitehead, Martin Paterson and many, many more. Debrah isn't even in the top 50 of our worst signings. And I'm only thinking back about 7 years or so

Imagine how many I can think of,  I've been going since 1961 😄

To be honest, I'm not against watching us in League 2 next season. We are one of the bigger clubs in that league. It gets depressing watching us play League One teams every week that look better than us on paper, and also look quicker and more athletic than ourselves on the pitch.

I thought we had a decent summer transfer wise, but the likes of Byers, Gabriel and Hedley have been huge disappointments. Losing Tolaj was massive. We ultimately replaced him with Hall and Cole which at first looked like great business, but Cole quickly started to play like someone who doesn't really want to be here, while Hall has had bright moments but will also want to get off board the sinking ship.

With Byers out who else can play in there?

With Byers out who else can play in there?

Walters, Croasdale, Garrity, Humphreys.

Garrity, Walters and Humphries most likely.

If JB is feeling particularly bold, you could put George Hall in the middle as well but would be a bit suicidal away from home for me.
