Byers or Headley or both. Personally I can’t understand why he chose Headley over Gordon at wing back. First and foremost a wing back needs to be able to defend in a 3-5-2

I thought Byers could easily have cut out the ball that was rolled across the edge of the box before their lad scored. 
Another game where we deserved something but got nothing which has been the theme of the season so far. 
We need a finisher to turn the 0-1 to 1-1,s and the 0-0 to 1-0’s.

To win games of football, you need to score goals. Moore can say what he wants about individuals and mistakes but he sets out trying to win games 1-0 where possible. It has already been stated about the very few games Vale have won after conceding first. Even if we spent £1m on a goalscorer before the deadline, one person alone might not be enough to save us. He has to take a long look at himself and work out how to get more goals out of the team. 

Don’t worry, in a week we’ll have gotten our first 3 points on the board. Just probably in the wrong competition. 

Its becoming a repeating nightmare  - play well, have so many crosses in the box and no one gets onto them , cant /wont shoot on target, ditto heading , make substitutes , defenders switch off, they score , we lose .   Well that's put the lid on my going on Tuesday. 

Doubt we'll see Carol for abit, maybe she'll appear for the Arsenal game and that'll be it.

I never see my owners where i work however i see my manager every day. Carol has put her trust in DM and it's up to him to get us out of this rut. !

Just listened to a bit of DM’s interview. Pretty scathing…”not doing our jobs”….. ”might need to change personnel”.

I’m not sure a single striker is the answer to our issues tbh. Yes, we need a striker (arguably two) and where are the goals in the rest of the current team?  

Stockley got what, 10? But then Curtis, Byers, Rico, Garrity all less than 5, I think. No meaningful contributions scoring wise from the current CB’s. 

I really think we might need to look at a formation change to 4-3-3 as I just cannot see how we are going to be creative enough at the moment.

This is a massive 48 hours now and will really have a huge influence on which division we’ll be in next season, which seems ridiculous to say 6 league games in, but is the reality of the matter.

I agree with changing formation but DM doesn't seem to want to change.
