2 wins in 23 at L1 level under Moore, is it worrying?

Yes

He won 3 out of 22 league matches at Championship level with us.

Perhaps he is only a league 2 Manager (at best) as he did very well with you last season but as per your stats, he cannot win you matches in league 1?.

But then, his promotion and season with Wednesday contradicts that? (And you beat Birmingham City!).

I think he beats himself with negativity and setting Teams up where Players have the shackles on.

League 1 this time is extremely poor, no stand out sides at all.

He will get you enough points that mean we will be playing each other in league 1 next season I reckon!.

Nice of you to make a reappearance. Where were you last season? Clown.

I know people having a go at Waine but the more egregious one today was Faal. He clearly didn’t fancy it at all.

Infuriating as they were no good but once they scored again did anyone seriously think we’d level it up? DM sounds like he wants to transfer list the lot of them from his PVTV interview. Perhaps it’s time to send a message to one or two.

Waine was worse imo. Him giving up on the ball out of play was an absolute disgrace. He’s so bad. Why didn’t we sign Hackford instead of him?

I don't understand why Ruari wasn't in the matchday squad as I thought after the Birmingham game he might have started today unless we are carefully managing his minutes after his injury which would be totally understandable IMO.

Our crossing is truly diabolical. Clark’s was piss poor yet again, but it wasn’t just him. Headley and Curtis equally guilty. We either smash <ovf censored> out of it so no one can get on it, kick it right to the keeper, hit the first man, or even just kick it straight out of play. Rubbish.

If I was Moore I’d have em in tomorrow just practising putting the bloody thing in the box.

We need stockley and Garrity fit again. Rico needs a look in now. He runs at defences and makes them panic. Gauci needs to be rested. Can’t wait for Amos to return. His distribution was so good in our promotion.

I honestly feel sorry for Moore. He's got us playing some really good stuff, but he hasn't been backed this season. I was worried as soon as Carol said that we had a league one team in her speech, after the Gillingham game.

If we don't sign a striker before the window ends, we are nailed on for relegation.

She made the same mistake last time we were promoted, obviously hasn't learned her lesson. I don't understand the logic of spending all that money to get promoted and then just throw it all away.

Barrow away olé olé.

Id normally be asking questions of the manager at this stage and especially given his return in league 1 overall for us. But I feel he’s been let down this season. Signings largely poor, Humphries aside and I do like the new keeper, but like you I actually think we’ve played some decent stuff under Moore so far but he hasn’t been backed at all. Maybe league 2 is where we’re meant to be under Carol

It may become a question I felt he sounded despondent which is a worry. Didn’t sound like a man about to spend £1 million to solve the problem.

Matt Hancocks interview didn’t exactly fill me with confidence either… we will spend it if the right one comes along but if not confident in the group we have.

Do you think he will be spending the money before the deadline? Like you, I am concerned by the content that we will spend if the right player comes along. My bet is it won't because we would struggle to get them to come to Vale at the present

2 wins in 26 in league 1 since DM took over.

We have to find a winning formula very soon or we will be travelling back down to Bromley and Colchester !

They keep on about the analytics and Xg cobblers ....2 in 26 is pretty  damming don't need a spreadsheet to know that's crap.

The only similarity to Michael Owen is that he has two eyes, two arms and two legs.

Funnily enough I use that same logic when comparing myself to 90's Brad Pitt.

Send Gauci on an International Break?

One of the most worrying aspects currently is that most of us would agree we've actually played quite well in most games this season. Clinical, no, but we've played some good stuff.

To be playing well & not picking up anything is a sign of a team that will ultimately struggle. If this is us playing well, imagine the scenes when the performances do drop off.

It's almost a carbon copy of the Crosby season at the minute. The only difference in that opening 10 x Crosby games was that we were falling the right side of the 1 x goal results, rather than the wrong side. Nobody needs reminding what happened next.

The Crosby season was not quite the same as we were just very pretty in the middle third but rarely threatened an opening much less a shot at goal. We’re getting openings this season just have absolutely no composure where it counts.

Its the appallingly negative tactics that are the problem. We are playing with 2 attacking players and people wonder why we don't score any goals. With 4 at the back, you usually have 4 attacking players, but we have no attacking central midfielders in the squad. Unfortunately, we will struggle until Moore is relieved of his duties.
