    I thought it was quite funny that those few who ran on the pitch had an average age of about 9!!

    With the cash outs and the money i had laid off i had won about 7 grand for my original 2 grand stake, so i went in betting shop today and i ended up cheering Doncaster on 🤣🤣🤣

    I’ve totally forgotten the result because that was the only bad bit of a perfect day. I thought the club got it spot on and it felt like a really special occasion with the fire display, special programme and even the Burslem festival adding to a sense of joy. Fan zone was incredible and being at a nearly packed Vale park. 
     

    Even so, play in league 1 like today and going in November/Dec/Jan/Feb could get a bit depressing…again…still UTV! 
     

    We handled the bigger crowd really well and that was one of the less stressful bigger games we have had. I found it odd that the sell out still had plenty of empty seats and in the Bycars block that was 1,000 there was plenty of room. No reason why those areas could not have been filled and I reckon we could have pushed 15k. Even in the Lorne Street where I was, I had two empty seats from season ticket no shows!
