Today's game was what it was but the season has been a massive success.

Well done to everyone connected with PVFC, the sounds and  scenes before and after the game were absolutely fantastic.

I have to say that it's not a very good point when you don'y know who we lost to, but we lost to someone.  It seems like you don't know what you're talking about.  We've lost the fewest games in the division this season (joint with Donny). Now go and have a celebratory drink.

You'd think, but some people are complaining that we lost a game (not sure who to) against a team below us in the league when we have spent most of the season at or near the top of the league.

It's fantastic that we've been promoted and it was well deserved.

Still, and as several here have said, what a missed opportunity to impress all those potential  additional regular fans who were there, or watching online today, with a good performance. 

Piss poor second half but who really cares since Donny were 2 up anyway.

Hilarious that Bradford have done Walsall out of automatics in the 96th minute.

Shame a few gimps decided to run on the pitch, looked absolutely tinpot. Just lost 1-0 and were promoted a week earlier, why are they running on.

Also, some of our fans are brain dead. Kicking off in the bycars trying to get to the gills fans. The only reason they’re watching the game is because the club got special permission to open that area. Maybe next time the safety group will say no because of what happened. Idiots.

It didn't matter if we won or lost today and it still doesn't  DM and his players got the job done last week no doom no gloom only joy allowed so stop moaning and celebrate!!

 

League one next season and an exciting closed season of ins and outs ahead as we prepare for the next challenge.

Seems like I've got the wrong approach by wanting continuous improvement by analysis of any shortcomings. I've always wanted the best for Vale and strive to see them back in the Championship and the only way is to put things right. I celebrated over a few days, and probably too much, this last week and am chuffed to death at the end of the day but going on a case by case basis I think any player with any integrity and with the right winning professional attitude would be going over their individual performance because if they want to reach the pinnacle of themselves they will need to do this. I'm not saying tonight or tomorrow. Just enjoy the day but in readiness for more challenging obstacles ahead

Game was a bit meh, ref allowed Gullingham to suck the life out of it but who cares.

What a season for the Vale.  Added bonuses with the comedy of Walsall missing out after claiming the title in December (they've got no chance in the play offs) and Artell missing out on the playoffs. 

 

Now it's time to prep for league 1.

I know, I really wanted to go on and add my congratulations on their promotion at the final whistle of their game. It’s a good job it was locked as I’d have looked a right idiot with Bradford scoring late on 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
