Disappointing way to finish the season. Extremely anti-climatic. We have a lot of work to do this summer in every area of the pitch if we're to not come straight back next season.

Once Tolaj missed his sitter you almost knew what was coming. But at least Doncaster won so it wasn't a missed opportunity.

Yes, but I can sort of forgive them given what they've done this season.  Sad that we couldn't sign off with a win but promotion was the objective and the job is done..

Well done to FALLSALL for absolutely making a pigs ear out of promotion,it couldn't happen to a better side 🤣🤣🤣

Feeling deflated after that even though promotion achieved. Why wasn't Chislett given chance to play last game for club. Only player who came out with credit was Mitch Clark.

Despite today …

Thank you, Vale, for a great season …

Onward and upwards …

Darren Moore’s black and white EFL1 army!!!

The way Doncaster have come through their difficult end to the season is very admirable. I don't think they'll have too much trouble next season

Played like we’re already on the beach. I really don’t think the crowd has helped today. Atmosphere has been awful

No offence mate but you conner blame the fans our players knew the job was done last week and looked like they were going thru the motions but they should put Inna better performance than that 2day either way The Vale are going Up 😎👋

There's nothing really to forgive. It was never going to be a walk in the park against a side managed by Ainsworth and it was a tight game that could have gone either way. Doncaster finished the season by far the best team in the league and were never going to slip up today, and deservedly finished top.

Don’t go out and get pissed could be the  players motto next year.

All those people there and Vale play abysmally .

That's the Vale for you

Today was about getting folk interested in a season ticket

Them we lose to a team so negative it was unbelievable

I've already left

What a rubbish afternoons entertainment

Fair play Ainsworth loved you kissing the turf.

Biggest crowd in years and we put in the worst performance of the season. Never change Vale.

The most Vale/ Darren Moore result ever….secure that tedious, mind numbing 1-0 defeat in front of the biggest number of home fans in over 20 years. Genius.

It’s certainly one way of getting fans to stay off the pitch.

Today was much more about celebrating promotion, not another 3 points that don't mean anything. (because Doncaster won)

Not saying it wouldn't have been much nicer to win and play well, but it's really not a disaster.

So it's acceptable for paying fans to accept mediocrity (and worse) then is it? The fans may as well have not turned up then eh?

Don't turn up then ..just do us all a favour and.go to the shitannia stadium and watch mediocre football every week FFS

I celebrated promotion last week. I was hoping to celebrate going out on an impressive performance and the title. I could live without not winning the title but we really need to get rid of some 💩 and get some damn good players in
