Hope he hits the ground running. Quite a leap up the leagues. Probably not what many were hoping for with the names knocking about. 
 

A shame about Paton but I’m guessing Moore didn’t think he had the right attributes after seeing him in the team and training. 
 

So I do have to question our recruitment — we signed Marosi and demoted him already and spent a wedge on Paton, loaned him out and now getting rid. Not really a good look on those two and that’s before you starting questioning whether Byers was worth it and what the reasons were for the Waine acquisition.

    Colin Gibson made a bit of an impact as well. Think he scored on his debut and got the equaliser at Hillsborough.

    I'm old enough to remember Keith Leonard coming from Aston Villa in 73/74 season. What a tank he was.....a burly striker was the term used I think? I thought he was brilliant and I was dead unhappy when we couldn't sign him permanently. Still one of my stand out loans but Tony Sealey wanner bad either!

    DM according to all the comms out of the club, at least in terms of signing them off.

    Pearce is a brilliant signing if true.

    Tolaj scored 19 in the National League. Pearce scored 30 with 10 assists.

    Proper old-school penalty box man. Exactly what we’re missing.

    I wouldn’t have minded Cole but he’s scored 1 goal since last February.

    Tony Sealy stayed in Biddulph when on loan and came into Biddulph garage (my 6th form weekend job) to fuel up his MG Roadster.

    The thing is Ruari hasn't been given the chance to show what he can do in L1 given that he was injured in training the day before the Rotherham game so it seems a bit unfair if we are possibly letting him go on a permanent deal when he hasn't played a single game in L1.  

    When we signed him last season we were after him for ages so if he does leave permanently it makes no sense as to why we signed him in the first place.

    Didn't DC only expect 75% of signings to work.  Lots of the big signings in higher leagues don't perform to expectations
