Yeah, I'll be gutted as well as he hasn't been given a proper chance to show what he can do so I just hope it's a loan deal until January and not a permanent transfer. 

I'm surprised that he wasn't in the squad against Reading as I thought he did well when he came on against Birmingham and as a result I thought he would have started on Saturday.

When we signed him last season we were after him for ages so if he does leave permanently it makes no sense as to why we signed him in the first place.

IF we do sign him,we all wanted a prolific striker and yes he is one(something like 108 goals in his last 170 games i think) but no doubt he will be the wrong kind of one for some.

This wont be overly expensive either imo especially if we send 2 the other way as well

Now just imagine if the rumour was true(unsure myself) on Scarlett as well,if DM was to stick to the 3 up top then a 3 of Scarlett,Pearce and Brown could certainly be very interesting,plenty of pace and power alongside a natural scorer

Big questions to be asked why we paid an alleged 6 figure fee and then barely gets a chance to impress. 
 

It’s an indication to me that someone bought him for the team and not Moore. 
 

They should review Ruari’s journey here and assess whether they need to make changes to processes in buying players. We penny pinch as it is, so it’s particularly a pain that this one didn’t work out.

We lose an our own development player who we heavily invested in because we have signed 2 loans in his position, we sign a striker at 30 years old from 2 divisions down. Make no mistake It’s a huge step up from NL to L1. It’s a huge gamble. Pearce is not going to improve at 30 years old.

Shows Faal signing is a duff one already. Vale have panicked and <ovf censored> this one right up.

Overall, if this is the final deal we’ve had a really poor recruitment this summer transfer window with only 1 arguably 2 positions improved.
