This is a perfect example of the challenge we have. “We need a proven goal scorer”. Yeah we do l. and they are hard to find, and hard to prise away from clubs and cost eye watering amounts in fees and wages. Not only that but there is tons of rubbish out there earning wages that will cause problems for us. 
 

I really do not see us purchasing anyone who will satisfy most on here. I really hope that we do not panic and get another Guthrie/Uche. I’ll stick my neck out further and say that I’d rather stick with what we have got - ineffective though it may be right now - than bring in more crap forwards. I think there is an effective pairing already in the squad DM just needs to find it.

At the same level that Tolaj shone at, he's scored far more goals and more assists.  We are probably taking a chance that he is older and hasn't been in the league before. But if it's a lowish fee, plus a young lad on loan and a player who was never getting in the team anyway, it feels like a low risk play from us for a guy that scored 32 goals and has 11 assists in 49 games at national league level. 

Could be a brilliant signing, could be another Ricky Miller. 

The thing for me is that at 30 and having a career in non league you would think he will be busting a gut to prove himself at this level,so yes I also find that prospect a bit exciting

Don't understand us signing another midfielder, we've got loads. Surely someone is leaving?
