If he is a right back and purely right back then he will not fit in to our 3-4-2 so either Moore is changing our formation which I think is unlikely or Gabriel will be played in either a RCB role or a RWB role- take your pick.

    Possibly but with Clarke and John I think we are strong in this position yet considerably weaker at RCB. Debrah has improved massively but still needs to improve further to be a good div1 player.

    We'd be helping them out (although I accept that may be against the grain for some folk on here) by giving the lad game time at first team, league One level. And also ourselves if he contributed as many goals for us as he did for Walsall during his stay there!

    I find it odd that people desperately want Clarke to re-sign (i do too), but are concerned about his possible replacements injuries? Gabriel was involved in the same amount of games last season as Clarke was involved in over the last two seasons. So injury wise, an upgrade surely?

    It’s about having quality in strength and depth to be able to rotate  players too. I’d take Clarke and Gabriel as being the rhs options.

    I can't see a manager going with a formation for 10 players on the pitch either.
