Looks like Stoke are set to send Nathan Lowe out on loan again.  Any thoughts out there? He certainly did exceptionally well for Walsall until he was called back in January.  Arguably, had he remained at the Bescot for the second half of the season, Walsall wouldn't have missed out on promotion.

Wouldn’t be against it, but wouldn’t want him doing like he did at smalsall then sjoke recalling him to leave us in the lurch

Slightly off topic but Man ure have signed Cunha from Wolves for 62.5mill. Crazy.

And yet Big Sir Jim claimed he had to lay off staff otherwise the club would have gone bankrupt at Christmas

Sol Sidibe at Stoke

That's always the risk with any loan arrangement, unless, of course,  it's a season-long one. But his track record during that first part of the season shows that he's a  proven goal-scorer at league two level.  Whether he could operate at a higher level is, of course, the 64 dollar question!

My mate who's a Wolves fan says that while he is talented he is also lazy and can be moody and doesn't put the hard yards in when he isn't getting the ball. Sounds a perfect fit for United then.

I reckon we will hear on Clarks decision at some point this coming week

Not one for PSG then

I agree with your assessment of us last time in L1 following promotion

Disagree with you ‘not much different to top half league one’ I think there is quite a gap in quality and the way football is played.

I do agree though we will be fine…we have the right manager with  already a good nucleus of L1 players. With probably another 4 or 5 players to come I’m not concerned about survival this time around.

People have different opinions that's how it should be and my opinion based on what I saw, and our results, the season before last and the one before that league one wasn't that much of a step up our problems were all self inflicted and I see us as being considerably better in every department than we were last time. As bad as we were I don't remember us being turned over apart from the bansley opener. We were in most games and if we had occasionally put the ball into the opponents box we might have done better but ac wanted to find a new way to score goals 🤣

I have seen a few posts about players not wanting to come here to be second choice or sign a new contract to be second choice etc but my take on that is that I wouldn't want us to sign any player who didn't back themselves to get into the  first team because they are worried about someone else in our squad being better than them. I want players who strive to improve and get the shirt or come in to cover for injury then keep them out with their performances. That's how we get better not signing weak minded players who are frightened of a bit of competition.

I saw a stat that he spends the most time walking during a game out of all premier league players. Something like 74% of his game time.
