What a last 60 minutes.

Harper and Stockley changed the game.

Mitch Clarke effort was outstanding and John had an excellent 2nd half.

Bottle that effort and commitment from those 2 and get after teams from the 1st minute at home.

DM needs a long hard look how he prepares the players to start. Even before the whistle I thought the body language wasn’t right. 

That was dire… at least that was my view at half time. Wrong players, the right ones right off the pace and no direction or leadership. Subs made a massive difference, Sang is so good as a utility man. 21 attempts on goal says we are not shot shy and even at the break we could have had 4 easily. Stockley scores after great work from Smith and they looked like men possessed. Sproson saying the Kamwa had John every time but I thought John was superb, while Kamwa was lively he rarely got past without being at least slowed right down. All about opinions I suppose but vale have a great team in there if Moore grows a pair, gets them attacking and drops those clearly not up to it.

I agree, the first half was extremely frustrating. I wouldn’t have started Hart, Lowe or Hackford. 

However, the second half was much, much better and we got the win.

It’s quite refreshing to be able to post on here after winning a game from coming from behind. We rarely do that. 


 

That is true and I will give credit to Moore for making the changes early. But I have no idea how a professional and experienced manager thought that starting 11 would work today.

Not sure anything he posted was incorrect though. I’m delighted we won and on balance we created enough chances to win 3 games but that team selection after a strong performance at Donny has to concern you? 
 

For me I was hoping to see Moore learn how to beat weaker sides at home. He’s brilliant against strong sides, sets us up really well and we counter really well but today I was hoping he had learnt from previous weeks where we let them impose themselves on us. Maybe and hopefully he learnt at half time as it was much better. But that has to be the intent from the start

Interviewer just asked Nathan Lowe if he thinks the manager can improve him and in the same sentence,mentions Viktor Gyokeres.

Also says that's 5 games unbeaten and can they make a play off push. They have actually won 1 IN 13....

Headley looks a solid addition on the left. Settled in nicely & to score the winner on home debut he must be in dreamland! Made up for Tolaj as well. He’s looked a total animal since coming back into the side & in his natural position. Onto Chesterfield 🤩
