Totally agree. Needs to play that second half team against Chesterfield. 

Good win but I’m absolutely sick of Moore. I expect  5-6 changes again for the next game and it isn’t working.

Oh no DM and Co wont.  Panto season come early.  Just hope there are no more injuries from the training field this week and those who picked up injuries recover from their ones.

Was worried Clarke would not come back from his injury.  So chuffed for him.  He is going from strength to strength.  

Job done and a strong 2nd half against a really poor side but that is another tactical disaster class from Moore. Ridiculous team selection. Making that many changes after a great win at Doncaster, 4 wing backs, starting Lowe. Shocking. Anyway 3 points which we needed but Moore needs to sort it out. You shouldn’t be needing to make so many subs early on because you’ve got it wrong so many times. Clarke and Headley were excellent, impressed with Tolaj again now he’s actually getting a run in the side in his natural position.

We’re 3rd in the league. In the automatic spots with 26 games gone. It actually is working, may not be pretty at times but we’ve looked so much better since we’ve gone 2 strikers up top. We are creating a lot more & since we’ve changed to that it’s 2 wins & 1 draw. Yes some of the selections can be baffling but keep the faith 

I'd like to think a promotion team doesn't make hard work of beating a team like Newport, who are on a bad run.

Happy with the win, but we need to be miles better.

Still need convincing Moore is the right manager.

Much improved 2nd half, and it had to be. Headley was immense today , and he deserved his goal . He never stopped working . Will the real Port Vale please stand up?  Who knows what the starting 11 will be at Chesterfield, and that’s the problem.

I’ve backed the manager all season until the Grimsby defeat so how do you work that one out? He’s mixed it up since going more attacking with two strikers on the pitch, the results since don’t lie. So yes, I’m back on side. Enjoy the win 😉
