I think the gaffer will start with Rico on Saturday myself after his last home performance. Whoever he selects we have a great squad with competition for places galore. It’s great to see.. roll on Wimbledon ️

I agree I think Richards will come in for Paton

I wouldn’t be shocked if both of those start on Saturday mate. Not too long until we find out anyway ️

Regarding the Bulls Head, it does indeed have a sign saying home fans only. However, it is not enforced and there are almost always away supporters in there, proudly wearing their clubs colours. I have never seen a hint of trouble, indeed I and other Vale fans have had some good conversations and banter with them. I'm glad the bbq is back, if the scram is up to its previous standard. It is (I think) a bit pricey in there, but where to go for my plum porter now that the hog nog has closed down?

Looking forward to the game, also looking forward to seeing JR being very deservedly honoured. A great and very humble man.

Just thought that Curtis and Chislett both played for them before Vale. Gotta play them either side of a main striker surely! Bang up for it!

Police advice, happens for the odd game.  Fleetwood fans were in last Saturday and the bbq was back on, although have to say the service was extremely slow.

Noticed the price of fodder on sale had sky rocketed since 'gasmask' grimshaw had the pub.

No idea about the fodder, never eaten more than a pork pie and a packet of crisps in there.  The ale is expensive though and always has been, going as far back as the Bott’s taking the pub on, at least as I remember things.  It’s effectively the brewery tap but Titanic beer is cheaper in virtually every other outlet in North Staffs and beyond, in fact Craig’s prices were cheaper in the Crown and Thistle.  The brewery set the beer prices so maybe they do the same for food?  No idea.

Pricey by Burslem standards, but surely way cheaper than the pubs around Wimbledon!

Thanks to you all for your help!

So we should be hoping for over 8000  then.

Top of the league,  10 games unbeaten,   Rudgie celebration day. 600 away support. 6 pointer

C'mon Vale

What could possibly go wrong Loggerheads? 😂😂😂

Maybe Franchise are alright actually.

Start at 1:10:05.

Trying on all my old Vale shirts ready for tomorrow. Old age certainly assists the old tummy bulge! Matter now of wearing the least tight shirt.🤣. Come on everyone, get those retro shirts out. Let's see Vale Park blazened in many colours in recognition of the Great Sir John.

I just hope the players feed off the positive energy and translate that to a good start to the game.

Would be good if we could finally have that clinical game where we take the chances we create, feels like its coming rather than leave a nervy ending!

Wow, you lot should try living in Birmingham if you think £4ish a pint is expensive.... it's £7+ here in a lot of places

Come on local people that ground should be at least full in lorne street for JR .

Like getting blood out a stone getting folk watch a successful team and money out of them if 25 thousand can go Wembley watch Vale then at least 10 can go Vale park to pay respect for a man who deserves it totally .
